The prime rib, stick to your bones good comfort food. The service was very good and fast, even though there is a worker shortage. Lauren our server was very prompt with drinks and food and was attentive to make sure we had everything. A nice place for food and drinks. The portions were very generous. We have been to Birchwood a few times. Always give a place multiple opportunities to impress us. They have failed over and over. The service is awful, despite it not being that busy. The food is just fair, which does not justify the high prices. I do love popovers, but they are not enough to keep me coming back when we are mostly disappointed.

When I don’t feel like cooking, I call the Birchwood Char House. Food is always excellent, daily specials, mouth watering desserts, and the friendliest staff around!! Love Taco Tuesday and I never miss it due to needing my taco fix ;). Broasted chicken is finger licking delicious, and the prime rib special (I believe Saturdays) will have your tummy feeling like you won the lottery!
