Superb BBQ. We've passed this place for several years. Finally stopped yesterday. My wife and I had the pulled pork sandwich. Great price and generous portion. I also ordered a half rack of ribs that we just finished snacking on. Great price and very meaty portions. The only regret I have is not buying a full rack. Butts & Buns will definitely be a required stopping spot whenever we're traveling Hwy 371.

Open seasonally from May through September. Love the smoked salmon & recommend the pork parfait- smoked pulled pork with BBQ sauce layered with coleslaw served in cup that fits in the cup holders!

This is one of our favorite places to go in the Hackensack area. It is a shame we drove past it for years before giving it a go. All of the food is spot-on, delicious, the BBQ sauce is very good. Sides are all done well, too, which some BBQ places neglect. They are smoking the meat right outside the food truck and go grab you some when you order. Talk about fresh!We look forward to next summer when we can visit again.
