We used Soulshine for their shuttle service. We were cycling the Paul Bunyan Trail with our e-bikes and wanted to do a longer ride without cycling back to our start point. We arranged for a pickup at our hotel in Pequot Lakes and a ride to Brainerd. Rhonda, our driver, was on time, efficient and had us at our start point in a timely manner. She also had suggestions for lunch and dinner locations. The next day they provided transportation from our cycling destination back to our hotel. Rhonda, once again, drove us back. Hearing we were heading up to Bemidji, she gave us great suggestions for meals while there and made suggestions for biking in Itasca State Park. Soulshine also can help with accommodations while in the area, and we may use that aspect of their services in the future.

The iced vanilla latte is next freakin’ level. Hands down have to stop every time I’m at the cabin… ideally twice. The owner is such a kind hearted soul (at least I think he’s the owner?) and is so sweet to my son when he’s with me… and on that note- the smoothies are so good and made with real blended fruit. If you’re in the area make sure to stop. Drive down from walker.. so worth the detour!

Excellent coffee from a great shop. They went above and beyond to make sure I had the tires I needed. The cycling accessories are high quality at reasonable prices. Jesse was a pleasure to deal with, very knowledgeable and friendly. If I get that way again, I’m definitely stopping in.

Love this veteran owned business! Great value! Jesse arranged our stays and Rhonda took care of our shuttles for the Paul Bunyan Trail ride. Rhonda showed us all of the points of interest between Bemidji and Crow Wing on our first shuttle, making the whole ride worry free. The hotels selected were great. (Free breakfasts and hot tub access each evening didn't hurt.) The icing on the cake was visiting Soulshine's nicely stocked store for missing cycle provisions and a coffee boost for the afternoon. I'm now officially a devotee of Jesse's dairy free coffee concoctions and will definitely stop in any time I'm in the area. (Regular dairy options available too.). All we had to do for the whole trip was have fun. Lovely people to work with and would totally have them arrange any biking trips to that area again!

Ordered an iced oatmilk latte that was delicious. Jesse is well mannered and polite. We had a great conversation about being combat vets in Iraq while I waited for my coffee. Well worth a stop if you want a cuppa Java in hackensack.

We used Soulshine to shuttle along the Paul Bunyan. They were wonderful to work with and extremely knowledgeable. They were an invaluable resource to us as we were very far from home and not at all familiar with the trails. Their recommendations for which trails to ride, which restaurants to try, timing of the ride as it related to incoming rain were all very helpful. Rhonda was our shuttle driver and we relied on her expertise heavily! She was a joy to work with, as was Jesse. It was a wise decision to have a local guide in the area, and really serves as a safety net. Highly recommend!

I‘m so impressed and appreciative! On a recent bicycle adventure, my friend Jack’s bike fell partially off the rack and dragged. Jesse, of Soulshine Cyclery was an incredible support! He opened his shop at night to repair the bike and check it for safety …..checked it again in the morning before he shuttled us and bikes to the start of our ride on the Paul Bunyan Trail. He even made us coffee in the shop! On the way, I realized I had forgotten my sunglasses in the car, so Jesse stopped to allow me to pick up a pair. Then on day two of our ride, Jesse picked us up earlier than planned and at a different spot….Jack and I had decided that after 10 miles of biking in the rain, we were ready to call it a day! Jesse is truly a wonderful wonderful human being with such a kind heart and a genuine concern for all. Thank you, Jesse! I wish I didn’t live so far away!

We hired Soulshine Cyclery to shuttle us from Bemidji to Brainerd so we could ride the Paul Bunyan State Trail. Rhonda was our driver. She had good local knowledge and a passion for cycling… it was a wonderful experience. They have a great van setup for hauling bikes and were very accommodating. After our ride we stopped by the bike shop and were very impressed by the great quality and selection of their gear (good brands)! Great experience and would definitely recommend. ??
