Food is generally good but I thought the prices were a little high. I've been happy with the dinner menu but was disappointed with a Philly cheese steak I ordered my last visit. The cheese looked and tasted like something out of a squeeze bottle rather than cheese slices. Most of it simply dripped out before I could eat it.

The first time I went I thought highly of the place. This time I called 10 minutes after they opened on a Wednesday and they were not able to accommodate 2 people at any point the rest of the evening. Between the two bars, two dining rooms and patio seating I found that very disappointing. I might be back in the future but this experience definitely hurt my opinion of the place.

Wonderful food and great service! Ask for Randi as your waitress. I’ve worked in customer service for over 20 years and she is top notch! Highly recommend!

Table cloth had hundreds of tiny bugs crawling ALL over and even wrapped in our silverware. Reusable paper menus which were visibly dirty. Unfortunate for one of the higher class restaurants up north here but if our 10 minute experience was already filled with bugs and dirty menus I cannot imagine what happens in the kitchen.

We love Headwaters! Excellent food and service. Brian or Lisa are the absolute best. We love the pizza, the gluten option is greatly appreciated. Always an enjoyable experience!

My family and I just ate here tonight for the first time and we all really enjoyed it. The service and food was great as well. We loved our waiter Brian, he was awesome and actually took the small amount of time he could to interact with our son. He also took the time to get the answers to any of our questions regarding drinks and everything. We will definitely be back and hope to have him as our waiter again!!!! Thank you!!

$11 kids meal! $11 and was charged for the milk, even though it said it came with a drink. The manager said milk is way more expensive and the kids meal only comes soda. The menu says DRINK! The scallops were way under done and risotto was gross. Server was nice. Don't waste your money here.

Service was a tad slow, wasn't too busy. We ordered a couple pizzas and they seemed to be a little luke warm. We paid the same price as if we were in Minneapolis so it was probably a little more expensive then what we'd expect for the area. We have seen 3-4 restaurants come and go in the 7 years we've had a cabin there, nothing stood out as any different from the other places. I anticipate we will be seeing another grand opening in a few years. Lots of other local places I'd recommend before HW.

Love having The Headwaters open along the shores of Ten Mile Lake. Good food, great people, amazing atmosphere! A wonderful addition to the restaurants available in the community! Hoping for the boat slips to be available this year!

We made a reservation for dinner through Yelp. We received immediate confirmation and another the day before our reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant there was a sign indicating the place had closed for the season about a month ago. I guess we can't trust Yelp for guidance or reservations. The star rating is for Yelp not Headwaters.

We've been here several times since you opened in 2019 and we've always have been happy with our food and service! We've had pizza, shrimp tacos, burgers, and salads recently, all delicious. We hoped to get takeout tonight but see you're closed until spring ... we'll excitedly be awaiting your reopening! You are our favorite restaurant here in the Walker/Hackensack area!

My wife and I were expecting food more in line with a cabin county dinner club but found food preparation that would have fit in at a minneapolis neighborhood bistro. The menu has a good variety of options at a variety of prices. We had take out pizza the first night of our vacation and were pleased by the scratch made crust and quality ingredients. We ate in the restaurant on our second trip and were very pleased by the space between tables and care that the staff were showing with masks and cleaning. The food was nice, we had a starter of calamari that was done properly with a light crust and was cooked just until tender. For the main course my scallops were well seasoned and cooked just enough for flavor while still firm and sweet. The truffle risotto was creamy and delicious. My wife's walleye was done perfectly and the pistachio crust on top added texture and flavor. Her wild rice was cooked to a wonderful texture. We finished with a very satisfying tiramisu that we shared.Prices were low for the quality of food and the cocktails were well made and served quickly. The wine list is basic but well chosen and priced right
