They are always apologetic and offer substitutes. This location is great. While waiting for fresh fries, we were asked if we wanted waters. Very kind people here.“

“Food was good but the staff must not understand English or something. Ordered food and when it was brought out the staff did not clearly explain which order was what. When we asked they looked at us like we were stupid. We tried to tell them something was wrong and they told us they were just going to charge us extra to make up for their error. Found that very suspect. Also the turkey sausage is not turkey sausage it is actually cut up pieces of a real turkey 🤣“

“Alright, so after a few visits, here’s what I’ve experienced:

Smash burger is amazing; it’s basically all I’ve ordered for at least 8 visits now.

Seven out of eight visits have been great, with just one exception.

Here’s why they don't get the fifth star:

Seat Yourself is fine; I don't mind it. However;

I came in with two business associates I had told about the awesome smash burger.

It was full on a Friday 07/17, with nowhere to sit. The heat of the day was gone, and the patio was in the shade.

We were standing awkwardly while waiting for a table, and not one staff member said hello. I asked if we could sit on the patio and was told no, even after I pointed out it wasn’t that hot anymore, there was shade, and no seating inside. It felt like I was told it wasn’t my problem and was blown off.

So, I can only assume this place is so successful that they don't bother with customer service and make so much money that common-sense solutions to problems in making that money don't matter to the owners.

Also I was a little embarrassed that happened after I talked the place up.

“Our group met at Freddy's easy parking, lunch hour. Very clean, easy to order. Double California burgers meal deal ($11-12) with real thin french fries so hot beverage included and fry sauces. I want to go back for tulip sundae try something else. Booths and tables.“

“Waited 10 minutes in the drive thru, didn’t get my food and a crew member checked in on why I didn’t get my food yet. The manager promptly came out gave me my food and 2 free basket coupons. I realized they forgot the fries and pulled a u-ey and asked for them. They gave me the fries and a third free basket coupon. Left with a smile on my face and 3 free meals!“

“Service was great, food was good. We enjoyed the walleye & the wild thing burger. Great spice to the burger! Walleye had excellent breading. Nice selection for kids menu. Fun drink selection, seasonal was a nice touch. The batting simulator was just ok, doesn’t pick up on grounders and just overall not very exciting, wouldn’t return to do that but it was fun to try once. Kids enjoyed the arcade but it was very expensive and the claw machines are the type that shake the item and aren’t strong enough to carry them to the drop which just disappoints. Parking is easy. Good for family night out, corporate event or evening out with friends/casual date.“

“I ordered the new mexican hot chocolate blizzard. I was unsure about it. And the guy said, if you don't like it, we will give you another one.
I tried it and it honestly it didn't taste like hot chocolate.
And I did not like it.
I went back up and the guy gave me another one. Like he promised.
And he said, I could choose any blizzard, I chose the brownie one, it was delicious.
That's why 5 stars on atmosphere. Five stars on service and four stars on food.Because i'm disappointed in their new blizzard.“

“Had a mushroom burger was dripping in grease that it went all over my lap. Came back to get the custard scoop for the kids . Waited a long time to get the one scoop for 2 kids. The giant group of over 8 that came in behind us got their full meal before we got out simple scoop of ice cream.
I still like culvers just a werid visit. The staff were chatting too much with customers as they walked by and you could tell they were a little bothered and wanted to be left to enjoy their meals.“

The only thing I would ask is if the employees would please let them cool every time before packaging them thank you so much or else they fall apart sometimes!!“

Got the strawberry angel cake blizzard amd they put strawberries in there. The other DQ I went to in south Minneapolis didnt do that which is surprising. “I come to this Dairy Queen just about every Saturday, and I have always enjoyed coming here. The food is usually fresh, and most of the employees are very friendly and pleasant.
Arianna is always so nice when we come in. She greets us with a smile and is always willing to suggest something new for us to try. Thanks to her, I tried the new apple cheesecake, and I have to say, it is now one of my favorites! My husband and I stopped in on Friday this week because we had a wedding to attend the next day. Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience with one of the employees. She was very rude and had quite an attitude with us. She slammed our drinks down on the counter, and when I asked politely for a spoon, she rolled her eyes at me and walked away. Thankfully, another employee was kind enough to get one for me.
After that, once our order was finished, she went over to a gentleman and began canoodling with him right there in the restaurant. I found this to be very inappropriate and unprofessional while she was supposed to be working. I did mention what happened to Arianna, and as usual, she was very kind and helpful. She listened to my concerns and treated me with the same respect and kindness she always does. I have had many good experiences at this Dairy Queen, and I do not want one unpleasant interaction to overshadow that. The majority of the employees are wonderful, and the food is always fresh. I have even had an issue with cold fries before, and Arianna made sure they were replaced fresh and even gave me a free upgrade. I would still recommend this Dairy Queen to others. Hopefully, the employee I had the issue with was simply having a bad day, because I have always enjoyed coming here and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work to all the employees who make this a nice place to stop for a treat!“
