We drove 12 minutes to pick up our order and were not informed until we got there that they were out of food. The order was not cancelled. My boyfriend came out and told me, then tried to go back in to ask how to get a refund but the employees had locked him out of the store. I paid via gift card so I can't get a refund via charge back.
There is no easy option to request a refund on the app. I tried to chat with the Pepper chat bot but I kept getting an error. A few hours later I tried again and whatever was on the other end that was supposedly a live agent basically said too bad so sad and disconnected the chat.
You give your customers service like this and wonder why people aren't eating at your restaurant? We come here often and won't be if we're going to be treated like this.

I have them 5 stars as this Hastings Chipotle has always been clean when I go there; and they are speedy. However, this particular time then happened to be out of chicken.... But it was on the grill. So I gave them a pass as they were busy.

This location is one of the better Chipotles I visit and thankful that's it's also the closest to where I am located. I have never had an issue with portion sizes, speed of service, or customer service. Orders are always ready right when they say they will, and even if I order for pickup their portion sizes are extremely generous. They usually have a very young staff working and the kids working are incredibly cordial. Much better than some of the surrounding Chipotles (looking at you Cottage Grove).

The last 3 times I’ve went here they have been out of multiple meats. Dishes piled up tall. Cook not to be seen in the back. Everything seems low. I won’t be coming back. Saw 4 customers leave because they have nothing ready to serve you. 0 stars from me this place needs to turn into a Panda Express. I’ll go to the rosemount one instead.
very rude employees! My parter and I walked in and started to order one of the employees started to yell while taking my order and it was not busy at all. At the end when we were going to ring up the order the other employee started to ask rudely if we needed anything else.

I made an online order after work ready to eat. When I came into the chiptole the atmosphere blew my mind it was amazing. I grabbed my online order and noticed my bag was light I didn’t think much of it, until I opened the bowl. I was shocked nothing but a fork I couldn’t believe it I want a refund now!

This was my 1st experience at any chipotle restaurant.
Walking in the doors the floor was absolutely atrocious, I understand it's Minnesota in winter and salt is everywhere and as a business owner I know how hard it is to keep floors clean this time of year but at least give it a college try.
While ordering I couldn't understand the very loud lady trying to rush me though the ordering process, I was treated me like I needed to know how to order and I needed to do it quickly even though there was no one else in line and I didn't know how to order or what I was even being asked.
The food was great but the whole time I was eating all I could hear was this very loud lady barking at customers in the ordering line.

I wish I could give this Chipotle high marks, I’ve been coming here for years, but this location is rapidly declining. The doors and dining room are extremely dirty, it appears the floors and windows have not been washed or wiped down in years. Today I seen many dining tables still dirty, garbage on the floor and generally not a place I would want to stay and eat at. While picking up my order, the service area was very dirty, unkept and generally made me wonder if the employees had training on food safety, cleanliness and general customer service. The soda machine was broken, many flavors were out and there was no ice as that too was broken.
These chipotles should be absolute gold mines, keep them clean, be generous on the portions and timely and the lines would never end. It is unfortunate that poor management and lack of caring leads to the demise of these restaurants. For spending 13.50 for a standard burrito bowl, you think it would be a better experience. Definitely the last time I will be eating at this location.

Last 3 visits have not been good. On 2 of the visits I ordered the veggie bowl with the guacamole on the side. The cashier did not place it in the bag and I didn't realize until I got home. I live 40 min from the restaurant and did not want to drive back. Yesterday I ordered dinner for the family in person. There was 1 female working on orders and another at the register. The female maki g my order was having a hard time managing the order so I slowed down and repeated it several times, one item at a time. 1st order was a veggie bowl. They ran out of peppers and onions. Female employee slapped the rice in the bowl, I asked her to drain the liquid from the pico and corn before she placed it in the bowl and she didn't. Food was going all over the counter and into the other food containers because of her slapping the food into the bowl. 2nd order steak bowl. They were out of steak so got barbicoa instead. 3rd order cheese Quesadilla kids meal. The server was distracted so I asked about the Quesadilla and she discovered it was burnt to a crisp. Had to make a new one. Last order was a brisket Quesadilla kids meal. The brisket was overcooked and burnt. I tried to call the restaurant to speak with the manager but they do not accept calls unless you place a new order with the call attendant. I went to the chipotle website but there is no where to provide feedback or request a follow up call. I guess they don't care about their customers.
The place ran out of chicken and the line backed out the door almost. It took 20 minutes to get the chicken going again. They were also out of beans and many of the fountain drinks were empty. We were told they were out of children's chips and had to get a cheap orange. They still had adult chips but I guess a 20 minute wait doesn't get you upgraded to adult chips for free. How do you even run out of different sized chips when you still have the chips? All the customers were getting cranky waiting. Needless to say, I will not be returning here even though we like Chipotle in general.
