The place was a bit run down looking, paint scrapped off the walls and booths wore. Service was very good but the food was so-so. I’ve been to Chinese buffets all over the US and witnessed best to the worst. The food was mostly hot but a couple dishes were only warm at best. With all the raving reviews I may give it another go.

The high star review are either fake or they never ate at better/another buffet before. All their meats selection are either hard, smelly, or soggy. Was in less than 20 minutes and barely able to finish one plate because their food is pre microwave+ heated. The meat taste like it’s about to expire or expired already. Spend about 20-40$ for two and went to fast food to satisfy the hunger from leaving the restaurant unsatisfied.

This is one of my favorite go-to places where I live! Wonderful people run the place! Food is always really good!
I've been coming here since I was little, they have always made me feel welcome and happy. I have really bad social anxiety and have always needed someone to come with me places, but when it comes to Yaun's, I can go by myself and have no trouble asking for more soda or water. Recently I have been getting buffet take out, and I get sad that I'm not able to sit in and eat that day. I truly love this place! I hope to one day bring my own kid here like my family did.
Vegetarian options: I'm not well versed in vegetarian diets other than plants such as vegetables and fruits. They have a nice salad bar and some delicious vegetable dishes! They also have a nice fruit selection I like to dig into when I eat in. They also have a Mongolian grill where you can pick your selection of noddles, rice, veggies, or meat(which I'm pretty sure vegetarians don't eat, you don't need to pick meat for your dish?) and you bring it to the counter and the nice chef will start to cook it. To your right you will see a selection of sauce names along with garlic, and the option of 'make it spicy' you can tell him what sauce you would like on your stir fry or if you chose rice, fried rice.
Kid-friendliness: As I said in my main post, I've been coming to this place since I was little, they have always been kind and patient. I think it's the perfect place for a family to get food at a good price. Plus it's always nice to bring picky kids like me to a buffet so they can 'pick and choose' what we eat?
Wheelchair accessibility: As far as I can tell, as someone who has a great-grandmother who is currently in a wheelchair a grandfather who uses a walker, I have gotten used to scoping out weather places are decently accessible for them. And for as long as I have been going to Yaun's I see a great place to bring my grandma and grandpa, there in a ramp-type area (dip?) to get onto the sidewalk to the doors. There are no steps and the buffet tables/islands are far enough away from each other that a wheelchair or walker can get through.
This is THEE place in Hastings to grab great Chinese food - the buffet has a wide variety of foods to choose from, ice cream is included with the buffet and served after your meal, and they have a hibachi bar to enjoy as well. Definitely a great spot to get a great meal!

I have been here multiple times for 2 reasons my husband and the buffet style. He likes this place. If you like seafood, multiple options to choose. Such as myself having seafood allergies, you want to be careful. Limited food likes for myself. 3 stars is because my BIG disappointment is they never have NON-CRAB cheese wontons. Every time I go, I keep thinking maybe today. Another allergy caution is that the food can be labeled incorrectly. Staff is always pleasant, the food hot, available etc.

Yuans provides a place to eat what and how much you want at the end of a long day. The food is simple but consistent. When you are tired and need something easy for dinner, or craving the flavors they create, they provide what is familiar.
I came for the first time a little after 4pmIt's a dark and dreary atmosphere. Their food is very " Americanized " and mostly from frozen and processed and had been sitting out for sometime. Everything had an off taste. The staff was friendly but did not appear to be happy to be there. Sadly, I can not foresee me coming again nor not able to recommend it to others.

For a Chinese food buffet it's really good, if you want something cooked fresh the hibachi although basic is satisfying. To be honest I had many Chinese food buffets and this is one of the best.
