Cozy, small town Cafe feel. Traveling through and found on my phone. Good breakfast menu and very tasty. My husband loved the spicy Cajun breakfast. Very friendly and efficient waitress. I'm sure we'll stop again.
Best place for breakfast in the surrounding Detroit Lakes area. Home style cooking that comes to you relatively quick, usually great, attentive service, and a cozy atmosphere. I've only been here once where we had to wait for seating and that didn't take forever. Hand dryer could definitely use an upgrade. Sometimes the music in the kitchen is meh but if the workers are happy, that's all that really matters! ☺️
I biked here to check it out and decided to stop here, ordered the Short Stack (3 pancakes or 3 french toast, I picked pancakes). the food was great and the service was amazing! 10/10 would recommend! best service I've had from any resturant so far! stop in and have a bite to eat at the Whistle Stop! cheers!
