Absolutely horrible owner and son sitting at bar drinking beer and watching tv while one waitres is trying to wait on full bar and take food orders. After 45 minutes I informed Cookie (the owner) that her employee needs some help then I was told to leave and she continued to drink beer with her son Zack. Like many other couples in Hawley we will never go into this place again. No wonder it has been for sale for years. Good luck with your business plan Cookie.
I had a good mushroom and swiss burger and was able to have potato salad that day which was also pretty good. It's pretty much a standard small town bar that serves decent food for a good price. There were people with small kids eating as well. All in all good place to stop for a beer and a burger.
