“This review isn't for the food, but is to acknowledge an employee who was exceptional and out of the norm for a place like this: Kaeden, who took my order today, was so kind and polite and helpful with my confused ordering. He took the time to go out of his way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted even though my explanations were admittedly confusing because I didn't know the name of what I needed. His positivity and respectfulness was surprising and was the highlight of my otherwise stressful day. Sometimes the little things are the biggest things. Thanks Kaeden.“
“I love how kind and knowledgeable the staff is at 190 C&T. They always make me the best mystery beverages! Everything they have made me for the year has been amazing. I also love that 190 coffee and tea is pet friendly. As someone who works with dogs to improve their public manners, it is always great to be welcomed in some place local. Thank you guys for everything you do.“
“Another excellent breakfast today! The three girls working were quick, efficient, extremely friendly, and even though they were swamped, they managed it well. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious and the smoothies are always a family favorite! I highly recommend!! #5stars“
“I only go four stars on the atmosphere because the space is a bit cramped, Wussow's is a delightful little coffee shoppe and cafe out in West Duluth, right beside the Zenith Bookstore. I've had the paninis there, the deli meat sandwiches, the soup, the chips and fries; it's good food, if a tad pricey. But the coffee is delightful, and very affordable (a grande breve, for example, is about $5, and they have a wide variety of syrups to add in if you fancy that). But they have delicious specialty drinks, matchas, mochas, flats... It's good stuff. I haven't been lucky enough to be here during a concert, but I haven't heard a bad word about a performer there. It's another welcoming coffee shop you should add to your routine of coffee places to stop by when you're in Duluth.“
“Wonderful staff with a comfortable family friendly environment. My kids enjoy playing with the games and toys available and choosing stickers every time we stop in for beverages and baked treats. The options are endless with so many flavors to pick from! The staff are always eager and up for a challenge to create new beverages and encourage any flavor ideas you want to try. They are so nice and welcoming that you truly feel like you just walked in for a coffee date with your good friends, even on your first visit!“
“If you're looking for a warm and welcoming community space, visit Dovetail Cafe. Yummy food and beverages for a lot of different preferences. Cozy creative space. Family friendly and great for some work as well. The marketplace offers some sweet handmade and local things for sale. The Cafe shares space with the local Duluth Folk School, so if you're there check out their classes as well ✨“
“I stopped at DCC on my way to work today and had to share my experience. A song had just started on the radio when I pulled up out front. By the time I had turned off my car, gone in, ordered, paid, waited and got back into my car…the same song was STILL playing! And it’s not even that long of a song. I don’t go to DCC that often but they have always been consistently good and efficient. Something you don’t often find in a local coffee shop. Thank you!“
“Quick service. I was stuck in the Caribou drive thru and just said "screw it. This place across the street can't be any worse". And it wasn't. It was amazing. Got my coffee in like 30 seconds. Also, amazing staff. No dead eyes and broken souls among the bunch. Highly recommend.“
“Best donuts ever. Stopped by just after 11 on a Saturday and there were a good number of donuts left, including their banana split donut! Get that. It's unique, it's amazing, and I happen to love bananas. The counter lady told us they have the best cream cheese frosting anywhere. We vote it second best, and that's a really high compliment from my crew. Everything was SO good. Everything. I think I tried 4 types of pastries.“
“This might be the best coffee shop ever. Ok, so I've only been here once. But here was the scene: A dude playing low key guitar songs near the front door. Several comfy chairs/couches and tables were listening to him. A table with four people playing cards. A table with a half done puzzle. Two people sitting here not doing the puzzle offered to move when I smiled at them. Cool art on the walls. A friendly staff who seemed to know the locals. Two tip jars to encourage voting on silly things (Is Die Hard a Christmas Move? I've never seen it!!) And my crew was very very pleased with our drinks. I had a great classic latte. Teen one had a latte with some flavor. Two two had a matcha latte and was VERY happy. Tween had...oh I forget already. Maybe a hot chocolate. This place made me feel like I could live in Wisconsin.“
“So for starters, this location is in the MIDDLE of a mall. So you'd think it would be "meh" as far as atmosphere. Nah, the girls here knock it out of the park. Warm and welcoming, it's always my first stop when I go to the mall (I need it to survive the rest of my time there)“
“Quick review of the Caribou Coffee in the Canal Park area. Pretty standard coffee shop visit. I was in and out very quickly. The staff were friendly and made amazing drinks. Inside is cozy and has plenty of seating if you need to stay in to warm up, or hang out and do some work on your computer.“
“This morning I had preordered some coffees and due to a situation (out of the control of the employees) was unable to pick up my order. I spoke with Savannah about the order and she went out of her way to refund my order and make sure I was taken care of for the day. She handled that situation with an amazing amount of kindness and professionalism- even with it being an overwhelming morning - and it was appreciated on my end so very much. Employees like her keep me coming back. Unexpected things happen sometimes, and she handled it perfectly.“
“An awesome little coffee shop and cafe! The Purple Car Coffeehouse & Cafe has a bright, cheery, family friendly atmosphere with something for everybody. They have a wide variety of very good reasonably priced coffees.Their hot delicious soups and sandwiches are the perfect thing on a cold Duluth day! They also have some of the best ice cream around. It is easy to get to and they have a nice big parking lot. Definitely worth a visit!“
“This is my favorite Caribou to go. Always excellent service and drinks made right. The team members here are over and beyond wonderful.Parking: I never have a difficult time finding a parking spot.Kid-friendliness: Friendly with kid options for food and drinks.“
“This was my first ever Caribou coffee experience and it was fabulous! Maggie helped us with our order and she was so friendly and answered all of our questions :) I also thought their trivia board was so fun and creative. The drinks themselves were delicious but may be too sweet for some people. I love the variety of flavors they had!“
“I like to stop by as the girlfriend is off shopping in Target. I'm not a big coffee person, so I choose to go with the mango dragon fruit with lemonade. There are also some great options for breakfast sandwiches if you're hungry when getting your morning coffee. The service and staff are always good. The line can get long sometimes.“
“It's a Starbucks. It's a nice Starbucks! The parking is kinda horrible, but every Starbucks' is in the Duluth metro. Nice folk, quick service, accurate order-taking, and quality coffee whenever we go. It's a good place to take a breather. Also, the oleato drink is a surprisingly delicious option, as is their lavender matcha. I'm still very partial to a good ol' breve late and I still miss their raspberry syrup... But that isn't this place's fault, that's corprate's decision.I digress. It's a good Starbucks!“
“Just wish that McDonald's was a kid friendly place again. Families are struggling but Good old McDonald's back in the day you could feed a family of 2 adults and 2 children. What it cost today for a large meal and chicken sandwich and fries and pop for 19.00. just my opinion.Hope this summer the ice cream cone machine works good in Proctor , Minnesota.Dietary restrictions: Salt. I can have Fry's without salt.Kid-friendliness: No other then Happy meals and choice of drinks and dessert. No kid friendly place for them to eat and play.“
“Very rarely does an establishment get all 5-stars. The Starbucks downtown most certainly deserves the rating. The employees are friendly, helpful, and have a next level kind of patients when it comes to dealing with customers. I use the app to place my orders and it's nearly flawless. There have been times that items are labeled as out of stock at location when they are not. Again, helpful staff has gone and changed the status and so online orders can go thru. Best choice for coffee in town. My most liked are the Americano and highly recommended the grilled cheese.“
“Probably the best blueberry lemon scone this side of the Mississippi. So moist and well balanced. The Blueberry muffin was also very tasty. Service wasn't bad... it just didn't match the quality of the baked goods. Maybe it was just case of the Mondays.“
