Great food! I had one of the burgers and sweet potato fries. Fries were a little soggy but the burger and staff are phenomenal. Highly recommend. Hope someone buys it soon, it's been for sale for quite sometime

After the Section golf tournament, a number of parents were looking for a place to grab some lunch in the area. We decided to make the short driver from Hinckley over to Bear Creek Tavern, and boy were we happy we did. We were greeted right away by the staff. Entire team from the wait staff to the bartender to the cooks handled the group with ease. Food was really good. Service was even better!

If you don't live here your waited on last!!! I waited 12 minutes for someone to ask me what I wanted last wknd but locals walk in and have a beer or drink in their face immediately!! That should change!!

Been here twice now! Bartender (E) is so fun and friendly and happy. Too bad they don’t have a motel because we would’ve stayed there. Good (broasted chicken, fries and French onion soup was delicious!) We will be back next year!
Kid-friendliness: Both times we’ve seen families with small children. It’s a wonderful family atmosphere .

I’d give it more but the owner really did it this time I’m so happy it’s for sale so maybe someone who knows how to train people will run the bar properly and efficiently for slow nights . I’ve had so many issues from this place. Countless times my Togo is not all there or I’m waiting around for a hour with my card in my hand to pay for my to go order that I can see just sitting so others can get pull tabs . There was even the incident where I was having a great time put money in the touch tunes and the bartender turned the tv up over the songs I played even after another bartender had spoken up twice about how someone had played the songs . I’ve had a few ok experiences here when somone who actually knows how having a job works and why we have them but since I’ve been going here it’s just been down hill never the same servers so I really again can’t understand how you can trust your employees but ok. It’s like a bad casserole your aunt makes you keep trying it to see if it gets better but it’s always the same thing every time .
