“The food is absolutely amazing. Not your average “bar food.” The broasted chicken is an all time fave. The jalapeño poppers are made with red jalapeños and we are so glad they’re back! FRESH BURGERS! Yum. The homemade sauces (especially the blue cheese and tarter) are one of a kind. The bartenders and owners are extremely personable and friendly. Scotty says they need to have those walleye fingers on the menu “hands down.” They have the best bar stools I have ever seen-you could take a nap in them. They have excellent choices for merchandise. If you haven’t been here, it’s a must ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

“This place is an institution. I hadn’t been here in years and was glad to see it was still in business, and had even expanded. The parking lot is a bit of an adventure, but there was room for our whole group to park. We had 9 people and it only look then about 10 minutes to seat us on a Sunday. We were there for brunch. It was a busy place, so service was a little slow but not too bad. The newer bar area looked nice, and there were several vegetarian options to choose from. The vegan in our group had fewer choices but did eventually get the black bean burger. They accommodated our food needs with no issues. The food (especially the cinnamon roll, and several people gave the fish breakfast (walleye, I think?) rave reviews) was fantastic. I’d highly recommend this place for breakfast/brunch if you’re in the Hinckley area.”

“If you like White Castle, then the food was excellent,and I like white castle.... the staff were nice and friendly and I was impressed as I always forget to ask about a senior discount but the cashier asked about and I greatly appreciated the savings.”

“We stopped here for brunch for the first time. I had the Monte Cristo and my wife had the roast beef sandwich. The Cristo was large and tasty although I didn't like the sweet/spicy sauce. The roast beef sandwich wasn't that great as it tasted like the gravy was burnt and/or overcooked.Marge's wild rice soup was AMAZING. It is the second best I've ever had. We should have gotten a gallon to go! ;)Our server was good but busy, so we had to wait a bit for our food, but when she had time, she did a good job of taking care of us.The atmosphere was nice and it had a great blend of functionality and creative design.The pricing was reasonable. We will come back here again in the future.”

“This is by far the best sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin I've ever had. The older gentlemen in window one was very nice and greated us with a welcome back. We had our sandwhiches in the parking lot because we had drinks and are traveling back home. We will be back in the future for breakfast

“When I first pulled up to the Dairy Queen, I thought it was closed because there was nobody in line, and the cars in the parking lot weren't parked close to the door. I drove up anyway and saw the, "Open", sign, so I knew it was.

The cashier gave us enough time to look at the menu and then quickly took our order and gave us our total. After we paid for our order, the ice creams were all ready within probably a minute - maybe a minute and a half.

It's well worth stopping by for some ice cream. The service is good, it's worth the price, and it's only about a quarter of a mile off the highway. Plus, it's about halfway between the Twin Cities and Duluth, so it's a good spot to stop and take a break from being on the road.”
