“We have a seasonal place on Knife Lake and discovered 125 Tavern shortly after they opened. The food and ambiance is great. It's got that local bar feel that we like. And then this summer we met, Abby. She is a great server who is friendly and very good at her job. We stop in to see her on the way to our lake place often. And this evening she even brought us our drinks during her initial visit to our table. That is great service. We've enjoyed getting to know her and she is just a very nice young lady. Make sure you hang onto Abby!! Thanks for the great service, Abby.”

“A unexected delight! What a find it was for me to come across this restaurant on my way back to the Twin Cities from my son's cabin. Nice ambiance; great music playing in the background; delightful and helpful waitress -- and the most delicious chimichanga ever. The chicken was so tender and moist and nicely plated with refried beans, lettuce, tomato and a very tasty guacamole. I would drive back up Highway 65 just to stop in for another lunch or dinner.”

“Always had good service at this location and the food is “subway”good as well. The reason for the 3 rating on the food is strictly due to the lettuce quality when I’ve been there. It seems on average to be on that limp, starting to turn brown, borderline. Possibly the tune of day I generally visit, but still.”

“We went in to have the 6 piece chicken strip honey barbecue basket. We ordered it and got it really fast. Approximately 10 to 15 minutes. It was delicious as always! My boyfriend didn't know you even had those!! He really liked them!! We definately will go back!! Good service, happy servers. And they were keeping the water from the snow wiped up making it look nice!!”
