Food was top notch! Excellent old- fashioneds. Ricky is the best server we’ve had!!!
Food was excellent! We had the prime rib, brisket, chicken and shrimp fettuccine. All was delicious. The green beans were so good!! Cynthia G did a super job as our server. Delightful, friendly, and just the perfect amount of time spent on us. Very personable. Would definitely return!!
Our waiter was outstanding! His positive energy, beautiful smile & personality and excellent service was simply fantastic! The food was spectacular as usual! I drive an hour just to dine at Wind’s Steakhouse. It’s my absolute favorite restaurant!

Based on the reviews, The Winds Steakhouse offers excellent food and service. The drinks are excellent, with the citrus blood orange cocktail being very good. The food is fresh and full of flavor, with generous portions. Specific meals mentioned include the shrimp scampi, walleye, salmon, and surf and turf. The generous bread basket, especially the cranberry, is really yummy. A combination of the French and blue cheese salad is recommended. The ambiance is nice, though some menus have a piercing backlight. The service is great, with very personable and friendly staff. The restaurant is a great place for special occasions like an anniversary celebration dinner. Some items are reasonably priced, and some find it worth saving up for. Overall, The Winds Steakhouse is definitely worth a visit if you're in Hinckley.
