Steakhouses in Hinckley

“We've been to Winds Steakhouse multiple times, and the main reason we keep coming back is for the king crab legs. In the past, they were always an excellent portion with large clusters, incredibly filling, and worth the price. We never had any complaints.

We recently visited on Sunday, August 2, 2026, and were excited to see the king crab back on the menu for $230. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same as before. Instead of the 3–4 large clusters we were used to, we were served several much smaller clusters. If you're familiar with king crab, you know the smaller clusters have more sharp, prickly spikes, making them much more tedious to crack open. The meat was also tougher, the flavor wasn't as good as we remembered, and it took a lot more work to get the meat out. If you're a big fan of king crab, I wouldn't recommend ordering it in its current form.

That said, Natalie did a great job taking care of us. Our drinks came out quickly, and the bread and salad were served promptly. The service was excellent and made the experience enjoyable despite our disappointment with the crab.

Please bring back the delicious king crab legs you used to serve. We'd love to see the original quality return.“

“Food was delicious, especially the Ribeye! Seriously, do not add all that B.Q. sauce to brisket! Your sauce is too sweet! I come from S.W. Texas, we know a thing or two about brisket, and sauce!! Wayy too sweet. Other than that, it was all fantasticOur waitress was very nice, the food came out quick. Nice and clean restaurant. Oh, the onion rings,....FANTASTIC!!“
