Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

Stopped in a little before noon today to grab an app order. Long-story short, was there for 30 minutes AND had to tell the lady behind the counter that it was NOT OK to give me food that someone has just returned. That is correct, a worker accidentally gave my food to another customer. The customer opened it, saw it wasn't theirs and brought it back to the counter still opened. The worker (visibly annoyed) packed it back up in front of me, turned to me and said, here is your food. She did not seem happy when I said I needed new food. This was only the worst of my visit. I will never visit this location again.

Food was delicious....but 35 minutes sitting in the drive thru for 3 meals ($28) worth of food....NOT worth it. Ridiculous to sit in a drive thru for that long. .. and then the lady didn't even give us all of our food. We looked through the bag and didn't have the fries or cheese curds we ordered. Then when we asked for them, she just looked annoyed.

Drive through service for this visit was struggling. Waited nearly 10 minutes before getting out of the car to go in and ask about our order which still wasn't ready. Order a root beer shake, they made a float. They forgot the sundae and had to make it while I waited at the counter. They were completely out of napkins. This was on a Wednesday evening about 7:30 pm when they were not very busy. Not sure what's up with this location, but DW is typically better.

We showed up right before close tonight (which we felt bad about) but the workers were kind and professional and did a wonderful job, even gave us the fullest blizzards we’ve ever gotten! Thank you so much for your kindness when we showed up so late. Truly professional♥️

We came roughly 30-45 mins before close, saw someone inside as we were pulling up to the drive thru, only to realize it had closed for the night but that the inside was still supposed to be open.

So we park, as the inside had lights on and the open sign was lit, but upon trying the doors were locked. 30-45 mins before actual closing time. Couldn’t see the person in there anymore, assumed they went to hide in the back until people gave up and left.

And no joke, a few more cars and a SCHOOL BUS with a girl’s sport team pulled up behind us not moments later and we watched them all rush to the door to get inside and/or go stand in the drive thru. Didn’t stay to see how it ended but they seemed just as devastated as we were to be leaving without a sweet treat.

Went to McDonalds across the street and got McFlurrys instead. Mickey D’s 1, DQ 0

The food was great however the cashier was rude and annoyed that she actually had to work, no manner’s whatsoever. Perhaps they should go get some training next door at Hardee’s where they treat you like a human being.

Really messy store, got all of our order but was not all right in how we wanted it. We got added product to our meals. Very long wait times. No condiments even though they we're still offering them.

Understaffed. Waited 10 minutes to order, because only one front of store worker. No gravy for chicken strips (the whole reason we chose DQ over other nearby fastfood). No soap in restroom.

Absolutely disgusting experience at this Dairy Queen. Two young guys were working, and it was clear they had zero regard for hygiene. We ordered three MINI blizzards - nothing complicated - and it took FOREVER for them to make them. When we finally got them, they were completely melted like they’d been sitting out.

What made it worse? I literally watched one of them pick up food off the floor cut fruit with his bare hands and continue working without washing them. It was so gross that we didn’t even want to finish what we’d been served. They both also looked like they hadn’t cleaned their clothes in days which made getting our desserts unappealing.

Between the lack of cleanliness, slow service, and melted ice cream, I would never come back to this location. DQ should really take a look at how this store is being run because it’s completely unacceptable.
