You walk in and it smells like heaven everytime..Amazing baked goods. Amazing coffee! Amazing smoothies (regular and i had the berries and cream protein smoothie amazing could of finished it before making it out of town. Friendly service dont mind answering questions about coffees and baked good! All together great place.

I love this place! It is Adorable! It has an excellent curated selection of locally/Minnesotan grown and made food. Beautiful setting with a spacious back patio area. Holst may be off the beaten path but if you are win Southeast Minnesota are it is worth the detourTo experience the food, the atmosphere and the gorgeous drive here. I had the Caprese sandwich. I'm skeptical of most focaccia because it is usually to bland or stale. Not here! It was airy, fresh and flavorful. the cheese and tomato also - so very fresh! Green bean pickles on the side excellent side. I also ordered the Chider- fresh cider with chai spices. Quite tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. The best way to describe this place is fresh and flavorful. so worth the drive.

Not typical small town place, excellent flavor and food quality. Eggs in the sandwiches are baked I think, that's the only thing that wasn't preferred at all.

Incredible baked goods, we picked up some fluffernutter brownies, apple kuchen, and savory scones. Also have an outstanding everything pretzel. Coffee drinks are likewise in the spectrum of awesomeness

I have been to the Free Range several times now and the coffee and the food have always been good. The service is excellent and the staff always friendly! I do wish there was a place to sit inside but. . . oh, well. Any customer would see that as soon as they walk through the door. Free Range has always had a variety of muffins and other pastries. If I get there early enough there are some savory selections as well. The quiche and small salad make a truly tasty lunch! I have no problem recommending Free Range and easily give it an A+.

Awesome little cafe in Hokah, MN the thriving metro of population 553. I had the Mayan Mocha and it was delicious, also a quiche and amazing apple pie muffin. Staff was extremely helpful, nice and professional. Definitely worth a stop

Just moved to back to the area recently - pleasant surprise to have a new fav place to go that makes our new bluff-town feel home, just down the road.May be a bit more spendy than any one of a thousand corporate chains in the area, but supporting local farmers and goods makes it worth it.Also best breakfast burrito in the area!
