Awesome food and people. Flame grilled bar burgers made to order everyday. Great regular weekly specials. Fry bread tacos are amazing on Tuesdays (big as you head), fried chicken on Wednesdays is the best in the entire coulee region, and the beer battered fish and shrimp on Fridays is awesome. Get the beer battered shrimp; they’re huge! Everything is made fresh to order. Love Barb the owner too. Worth the drive.
I live in the area and often go the the Main Street Saloon when I don't want to make something at home. The pizza is some of the best around. The burgers are delicious and the Friday fish is second to none. Thursday steak night is very busy, for a good reason, so it can be difficult to get a table. Great food, great drinks and good times.
I've been making the drive from Sparta WI to Hokah every six weeks for almost 10 years. Audry is an outstanding hairdresser--I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else....ever. Over the years she has become a dear friend. Yes, it's true.....you can tell your hairdresser anything! 😉
