This place is pretty good but as regulars it’s pretty intolerable that the staff can be pretty hostile at the end of the night and end things early, citing that things are “dead” when the place is close to half full.

The self-pour experience went much better than I expected. I poured 10oz hazy IPAs, which was fine, because I can always pour a few more oz if I want to. A few oz of Bear'leywine.? No problem.Eclectic food choices, with many meatless choices. Pizza crust was soft, but burnt on the bottom. Servers were very helpful.

Not pleased with my experience.Won't be back.The card I was given to get beer didn't work. The beer stopped pouring because of the card and when I tried to refill it was all head. So we have to pay for pouring beer that's all head? The person behind the desk even said she couldn't help and I had to wait for someone else to correct it.We get the check and it automatically added 20% tip to food. If I wouldn't have had my hands full with frothy beer, he would have given me my bratwurst to walk to my table myself...20% automatic tip????The interior looks like something out of a cereal box. Plastic recycled. I didn't find it visually comfortable at all.The beer, when I finally did get a glass was very good. The bratwurst was very good. Just overall not impressed with everything else.Probably won't be back.

First time at the Bear Cave. Love the pour your own taps. They have a wood fire pizza oven. We had a great pizza, very tasty. Decent size menu, plenty of options for a brew pub. Three levels of indoor seating. Would like to go again when it is patio weather. Beer selection was pretty good. Would like to be able to pay your tab online as well. But not an option, on their app yet.

Beer has much to be desired. Amber lacks flavor and maltiness, IPA weren't very flavorful, stouts were ok but not great. We found one hazy out of 12 beers that we actually liked. A lot of money was spent on building, which is very nice. Just wish the beer had as much invested. Looked like a fun place, pizza looked good, but we didn't eat here.
