Folks could learn some manners from the wait staff. Those people are beyond courteous. Food is great! We had fajitas for two but it would feed more like four. Great deal for the money.

Kind of a tex-mex experience. Yummy food and good portions. Though the chicken could use more seasoning.

Picked up take out. Order was incorrect, incorrect meat, sides missing Chile relleno was still cold and congealed. Probably won’t give it another try. EDIT: definitely won’t be back. Super sick the next day.

I ordered their version of Enchiladas con Mole. While it was flavorful, there was only about half of the mole sauce the dish needed. By the time I got home to eat, approximately 12 minutes, it was dry.I intend to give them another try because the service was awesome, but I believe I will dine in instead of take out.Very festive restaurant with great employees.

A true gem in the Twin Cities area, Hopkins' own El Lorito has tasty Mexican food in an authentic-feeling atmosphere full of color and life.Over time I've found they have good enchiladas, good fajitas, good guacamole, and will gather around to sing Feliz Cumpleanos on your birthday. (All while you wear a huge sombrero and hold an inflatable novelty beer bottle.)I believe this is locally family-owned and run, which makes for both improved dining and service. Service has typically been reasonably fast even during peak hours with tons of people dining. They've been organized, and the food always comes out hot. They keep the good Mexican habanero sauce on the table (El Yucateco), and everyone usually seems satisfied with the Margaritas. (I don't typically have any, but people always offer a sip and they're tasty.)Like most good Mexican restaurants, they deliver complimentary chips and salsa to the table. The place is bustling. As a vegetarian, there are a slim few menu options, but they easily custom made a veggie fajita dish for me. (Something they have-- just not on the menu.) If you don't see something, it's worth asking, because in my experience the staff are more than happy to help.Check it out. El Lorito has certainly earned its place.Vegetarian options: While the vegetarian selections are slim, there is a special menu section and they will custom make good food when asked in my experience.Parking: The lot is a small but more than adequate. It's easy to find a spot.Wheelchair accessibility: A wheelchair can get in and out. Seating at the tables worked just fine for my friend with a disability who pulled up in his electric chair.

I ordered food to go. When I got home, I found a cockroach in my tortilla chips.

The food is not great here and the servers will forget things you've asked for. If you're looking for a place to just get drinks, chips and salsa this is a great place. Just don't order any other food.

This place is adorable inside and has great vibes. The server was kind and responsive, although we did wait longer than would be expected for how dead it was. The food was ok… we got chicken and beef burritos, and they were pretty bland. The rice also didn’t have much flavor. We really liked the queso, though! For how good the reviews are, I really expected the food to be better than I was…

Food was not great. Did delivery and they only sent half the food that was ordered. When I called in the manager seemed to careless.
