I am 80 years old. I cook a great breakfast. My favorite restaurant for breakfast is the Original Pancake House which does everything as well as I do. I did not expect much from Hoagies and I got less. The worst breakfast ever in my long life. My wife ordered blueberry pie. It was blueberry sauce on a bed of crumbs with crumbs on top. The coffee was dark colored water. The orange juice was junk. The poached egg would have been good if it were hot. The French toast was not toast. It was thick warm bread. The butter came in mini-cubes which take time to open. The fake maple syrup was worst ever. The “rest room” had no possibility to dry hands. It would pass inspection if it did, barely. There is some charming nostalgic advertising on the wall. The good thing is the kind hearted young staff. Lovely humans serving nice customers. Discount for cash is also a good feature.

old school greasy all-american diner-feel place with very friendly service and food that hit the spot. stopped in on my lunch break and was serviced quickly which i really appreciated. staff is kind and seemed to engage the regulars and other customers alike. i had a cheese burger and onion rings, the side of onion rings was so large i couldn’t finish them in one go as one person which i felt was a good value for the price. i left feeling very full and only about $10 lighter if i remember correctly (before tip). thank you people of hoagie’s i’ll be back!

Hoagies is and has been the go to place to go for a great affordable meal for decades.The service is good ,The decor is as it was years ago but that's the charm of the place because it has the hometown feeling anytime of day your there.The food to me is excellent and I would recommend to anybody.Parking: Can be a little busy at times but if you have to walk a little its worth it.

****Worst customer service ever, checked in (two of us) at 9:10 for guests of six , for around 9:30, no bigger table available yet, we waited for one to open. At 9:25, larger round table aviailable. We (2) were seated at the large table at 9:30, at 9:35 a party of five came in and the server asked if our other party was here yet, we said not yet but almost here. The server then stated at 9:36 that we would have to give up the table to the new guests that just arrived??. We did and were told that another larger table or two together would be soon, so we agreed to let the guests of five have our table. Our other guests arrived at 9:38 and we all waited until 9:59 when the other larger table (by the noisy open kitchen door) became available. We were seated and ordered 2 small milk cups for the two younger kids with us. Because of dietary needs for both, they always bring (their food) with them. Our server the came to our table and very bluntly and loudly stated you "cannot" have their own food at pur table due to #&&@%% regulations and stated we has to buy their cheerios or something else??? We were floored, we all stated that this was enough and all we could take and were leaving. After all of this waiting time and disscust, she insisted that we pay for the milks that hadnt even been touched. How did we like the food? we wont ever know. With service like this "beware".The business owner "should" conduct a meeting with their employees and discuss this review. Just maybe it would help your bad customer service.

We went there for breakfast and waited forever for a table. We were finally seated for our party of 6, and waiting on 2 people that were running late. The host came up to us and told us she was going to give the table away to the other people, since our people weren't here. Other people walked in 5 min later, and then we had to wait to be seated another 40 min! They finally seated us, saying quick quick sit before someone else does.They came to take our order, there were our 2 little kids in our party, who only eat certain foods. The waitress came by and said I'm sorry we can't have outside food. We mentioned our kids have allergies, with food they can only eat and they wouldn't even allow them to eat!Kids had gotten 2 milks they didn't even get to drink and they still charged us for the milk!! Kick us out, but pay for the milks!Terrible service, rude customer service and overall horrible experience for what should have been a fun breakfast morning.

We found this gem while searching for a pre play late lunch with our three kiddos. The staff were very friendly and patient. The food was absolutely delicious. My kids who hate onions ate my onion rings gone. The mushroom burger I had and the cheeseburger my husband ate were mouth watering as well. Atmosphere was great too. All in all 5 out of 5 from this family of 5 lol.
