The food is really good. Fish fry, garlic smashed potatoes, ribs, chicken sandwiches, burgers are all really solid. I give it a 4 because of the type of food, not the execution.It can get crowded on a game day or night. Bar bingo is a fun time and they have darts (plastic tips), pool, golden tee, and Big Buck Hunter.Parking: Street parking when it isn't too busy and a free city ramp right next door. Parking is not an issue

I'll start by saying I think this would be a decent place for a casual meal and drink or two. All of the food our group had was good (wings, quesadilla, sandwiches, flatbread). But after our dinner, our group was verbally assaulted and physically threatened. We had been having poor service from a bartender for our group and we were having a private conversation about our poor service (we had continued tipped more than 15% despite our slow and rude service). A "regular couple" then approached us very aggressively wanting to fight us. We had spoke with security who had agreed that we were in no wrong and were not causing any trouble and had confirmed this "regular couple" has caused problems before. Security refused to do anything about this couple which made us feel unsafe and ultimately lead us to leaving and spending our money at another nearby establishment.

The food at this place is absolutely delicious, and I have a few favorites that I always enjoy ordering. The chicken wrap is outstanding, and the chicken wings are mouthwatering. Every time I visit, I am always impressed by the taste and quality of the food.One thing that stood out to me during my visit was the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. As a lady, I always conduct myself with respect, and I appreciate being treated the same way. However, there was one incident that left a slightly bitter taste in my mouth. When someone bought me a drink, I overheard the bartender saying, "Oh well, I'm not gonna serve her. he was telling somebody they wanted to buy me a drink like basically everyone was buying me a drink or a couple people bought me a drink I can't really say word for word, but it was kind of like he didn't want to serve me, but he did give me the drink that was bought I was not drunk I was tipsy, but I wasn't belligerent. I live down the street so I always walk home or catch a Uber but I don't want to hear that the bartender is making it like I'm drunk or saying things behind my back. I was not drunk or belligerent." It was disheartening to hear such a comment, as I believe in treating everyone with respect, and tipping generously.I want to emphasize that I always try my best to tip, and on the occasions when I don't, it's usually because I've paid using my card. Tipping is important to me, and I make an effort to show my appreciation for good service. Hence, it was disappointing to hear the bartender mentioning that they had been catering to me all night. I believe it is their job to provide excellent service to all customers, and it shouldn't be seen as an inconvenience.Despite this incident, I still had a pleasant time overall. The food was fantastic, and the ambiance of the restaurant was enjoyable. I appreciate the effort put into creating a great dining experience.I hope that the management addresses such incidents in the future, as it can impact the overall experience for customers. Nevertheless, I would still recommend this place for its amazing food and inviting atmosphere.Note: This review is based on my personal experience and may not reflect the opinions of others.

Went there last night for karaoke. We won't be going back. Service was terrible. I went to the bar twice to two far ends of the bar to get drink's. The bartender ignored me both times. I had to grab a server to come to our table. She did a pretty good job until the end. My wife asked for the bill. The server dropped it off, I payed it, left a real good tip. We went home. We got a text from a friend that was there. The server separated our bills, ( don't know why), dropped the 2nd one after we left, thought we skipped, proceeded to bad mouth us to everyone at the bar. Our friend ended up paying the check. The service has always been uneven there, but this is the last straw.WE WON'T BE BACK!
Service was great, good crowd.Food - Pretzel was pretty good, Boar Bites were just not that good. Dry/overcooked, and the cream cheese seemed like it had been frozen, and was bland-tasting.

This is a Hopkins staple! I mean the nostalgia of the old Archie's. It is a great bar with good service. You all know I prefer to sit at the bar, so I cannot comment on table service. The food is good and it's typical bar food. The entertainment is great... pull tabs, darts, golf game, pool tables, big Buck, kids games, and plenty of TV's. Saturday's there seems to be bingo and a meat raffle so it was packed! The prices are reasonable, so in my mind it's a neighborhood staple. Enjoy!!

This place is an absolute dump. Horrible service. We waited for 45 minutes and got no service whatsoever. Finally had to go to the bar and get beers ourselves. Combine that with sketchy dudes hanging out smoking right outside the doors and it completes the vibe here. To call this place a dive would be an unwarranted compliment. There's been one shooting here already and it probably won't be the last. Hard pass.

I've never eaten at Wild Boar before. Visited on NYE for cocktails. The staff is so so nice! They are so attentive even though I think they are understaffed. Truly above and beyond. Stars off because the place smelt strongly of vomit the entire night and because they close earlier than other bars in the areas
