Stopped by with friends for a late Saturday lunch and were happy with the quality and value of the food. My husband had the steak sandwich but three of us had the broasted chicken, and when I saw how that was going I should have changed my order to something else for the sake of the review - but it just sounded so good that I didn't want to miss out! Good choice on my part, it was awesome.Fries were also good, and the generous plate of hash browns were topped with butter. I'd recommend just dropping the toast from the chicken dinners, it's hiding under the chicken and who wants toast anyway? If you want to serve bread, maybe just a traditional dinner roll??The salad was fun, topped with goldfish! Another review criticized that but it was actually good so don't listen to the haters.My husband liked the steak sandwich with au jus but from the bite I took it seemed awkward, with the steak thicker and the bread thinner than a normal French dip - but it wasn't supposed to be that, was it??Overall, fast and friendly service in an atmosphere that's reminiscent of a small town diner complete with paper placemats.

The waitress recommended the chicken and ribs so we thought that was a go since newbies in town we try a local establishmentOur food arrived 45 minutes later this was the worst chicken and ribs I ever had like it’s been sitting forever The waitress never stop back just to drop off our . Bill was the only time.I guess we can mark this one off our list

I had a California Burger. It was one of the best I’ve ever had. Friendly service. It’s an older restaurant, but has rustic charm. Comfortable atmosphere.
We had the special which was the French dip. Beef was over cooked and dry,french fries and coleslaw were great along with the service.
