So while waiting on my order I witnessed an employee making food without gloves on. I did mention that in Minnesota when preparing food gloves are to be used. The lady (general manager) told me they were busy so it was ok. When someone ends up sick because of there lack of concern about proper food making it will become a huge problem.
I've loved taco johns for a long time. That being said, I have never been so disappointed. Nothing tasted good. The biggest disappointments were the two main reasons I go to taco johns. The nacho cheese, and the potato ole's. The nacho cheese is so different. It was perfect. Now it tastes and feels disgusting, and it's not spicy at all. The potato ole's weren't seasoned, and just seemed really off. I really wouldn't recommend anything I ate tonight to anyone.
Parking: This Hutchinson, MN Taco John's Restaurant has a small parking lot (4 to 5 car spots) that is accessible via Minnesota Highway 7. Utilizing Minnesota Highway 7 is also how you gain access to the drive-through kiosk. Wheelchair accessibility would be via the upper, smaller parking lot. There is no automated door for the wheelchair accessible entrance; but, this upper level entrance to this Hutchinson, MN Taco John's Restaurant allows one access to the restrooms, the counter to order at, the beverage service area, and there are about 4 low-level tables on this same level of the restaurant. There is a bigger parking lot that sits at the lower level of this Hutchinson, MN Taco John's Restaurant, and accessible from the side street.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility would be via the upper level, smaller parking lot. The Taco John's Associate at the front counter inside was both patient and helpful.
The Taco John's associate assisted me with which ingredients were in each food option.
He also made sure to give me options of cheese sauce, salsa, sour cream, or guacamole as sides - especially as a potential side for the potato olés.
The gentleman was patient with me as I made my decisions on which delicious food items to enjoy, and was ready to take my order as soon as I was ready to place the order.
