amazing service and great prices for quality of food
I have never written a restaurant review, but our dinner last night was so incredible, I just needed to! The server was so nice and helpful, and let me tell you... the food was AH-MAZING. We have a party of 3 dining friends (we call ourselves the MotherForkers) and we all rate Flank 10+++++. The Stuffed Mushroom app was a yummy start. Had dinner with coworkers last night and everything was fantastic! The Korean short ribs and monkfish were so good. From appetizers to desserts to drinks 5 stars! So cool that our server also made the raspberry crème brûlée! Thank you once again for a great night and delicious food!

Based on the reviews, Flank Bar and Char is a restaurant with a hotel bar setting that offers cozy nooks in the bar area, though the dining room is more sub par. The staff is very good, prompt, fast, and super friendly. The food is always exceptional, incredible, and fantastic. The specials are always very unique and fun to try. The wagyu New York strip, the London broil, and beef Wellington are to die for. The Stuffed Mushroom app is a yummy start, and the Hanger, monkfish, and pork tenderloin are SO GOOD. The baked potato, veggies, and their trimmings are little works of art. The desserts are usually outstanding, including the baklava and the raspberry crème brûlée. The Korean short ribs, monkfish, salad with house vinaigrette, and meatloaf meal are all fantastic. The mashed potatoes are a hit. The food is made with talent and care. It is a little pricey, but this place is worth it every once in a while. However, the chef either forgot to order enough food or did not have enough funds, as several items were 86ed for the weekend.
