Chocolate Moose Restaurant Company

We stopped here for lunch on our way back from Canada. Ordered soup and sandwiches. More than 30 minutes later and not even soup appeared. Had to track down the waitress, who told us that the kitchen was busy with a big party. So busy that they can't ladle out a cup of soup? Kitchen is dysfunctional. So we left and went elsewhere.

Ive been here my whole life, the food is good but needs improvement. The service is amazing but the food, I feel, isn't as good as it used to be. May need a new vision on food now that the environment of this town has changed... but please dont get me wrong, they do have good food but if your going to pay for a steak for that price, you need a good quality steak, and maybe change up the appetizers... your new food item was the Perogie burger, which is good but the burger was SOOO SALTY. Maybe serve a small menu of alcohol?

A mandatory twice a year stop for us on our annual fishing trip. Good food, great service.

I fun local restaurant. The food was good. I loved the decor it was full of wall hangings about fishing. The staff was friendly and made us laugh several times.

Sadly they no longer have chocolate mousse.

Recommended dishes: Burger, Ribs, Chef's Salad

Stopped while traveling to Canada for fishing. Dinner was great and the service was excellent. Went back for Breakfast on our way north and stopped for lunch on our way home.

Took forever to get our food.

Waited an hour for a 3 oz chicken “breast” in gravy. Cost $14 and required me to go to another place for food after because I left hungry still.

I stopped by here while on a road trip. I was solo traveling and asked the waitress about what it’s like to cross over into Canada. She was super nice and helped me feel a lot better about the whole thing. I think the food was nice and the restaurant was very calm. I would stop by here if you have the chance!

Stopping in from out of town and the food was great, service was quick despite our special requests for dietary restrictions. Very lovely log cabin aesthetic
