Izumi Hibachi Express

I ordered a vegetable ramen and saw a black dot floating on top and took it out with my finger and put it on a napkin I had on the table and after it dried I noticed that it looked like a rat turd. And this is after I ate most of it! I touched it and it was hard and in fact a Mouse or Rat Turd Floating in My Ramen! I was Sickened! This happened February 28, 2025.

Fast service and I absolutely love their ramens, the soup and stir fry versions! I love their steam buns too. Sooo good. I hope these guys keep the business rolling cuz we come back frequently!!

I had Mario as a server, and he did a fantastic job. Who ever made the sushi today needs a raise, and the only complaint I have is that I could eat more sushi simply because my stomach is not big enough. I will 100% be making this place my regular sushi hookup

The food was amazing! I was going to McDonald’s the line was too long seen them and tried it , healthier and for a great price I still don’t believe the quality of the food for so little money! $. $$

This place is great. I got the hibachi chicken and steak, asked for extra spicy. They included some kind of oil or sauce. I have a high spice tolerance and this stuff was SPICY. Spice lovers, definitely give this a shot, but I recommend taking it easy on the sauce.

I travel all around the metro for work so I am often trying new small restaurants. I placed an order and got everything within 10 minutes. I tried three things and they were all absolutely delicious. When I went to pick them up the lady that greeted me was super nice, I will definitely be back here. It was an amazing meal!

The food here is fantastic - so delicious. The ramen is incredibly tasty, and we also enjoyed appetizers like gyoza and calamari. Great boba tea, too! I'm so happy that the owner opened this place in the south metro after years of serving up fantastic food at Ishita Ramen in St. Paul. We used to go there almost every weekend. He's taken that experience and made this "express" version of it in Inver Grove Heights. I'll definitely go back many times, both to eat in and for take-out. My kid loved it, too, including the boba tea.

Their Rose Lychee Bubbling tea is so perfect for my upset stomach today. Not to mention the ramen broth, yum yum. Went with the vegetable ramen today. Will be back to try the pork! They have miso soup here too for my other soup/broth fans!
