Took the whole family expecting a great BBQ experience but the food was mediocre and luke warm. Service was fine and very fast but they were out of chicken and au gratin potatoes. We thought the 4.7 stars would have been phenomenal but far from it. Meatloaf was mushy, potato salad was soupy, only thing that was decent was the nachos, although not top notch by any means.

Food was great! So was the service! The only drawback was the exhaust fumes that permeated the place, when we asked about it we were told it was from running a racing sled outside. The smell wrecked the wonderful smoked meat smell we initially walked in to and put a damper on the experience. Hoping next time that won’t happen!

Absolutely delicious food and drinks! Excellent, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back soon!
The good reviews must all have come when they had breakfast and a dinner menu that actually served food. I came here when they were first doing the smokehouse thing and it was only 445 in the afternoon, super busy and they were already out of everything. Bi gave them a pass being new menu, height of summer. I waited 8 months to figure it out, came on a very slow Sunday in the middle of winter at the start of dinner hours, waited 15 minutes for drinks and the guy says "just letting you guys know we are out of a lot stuff". Oh. My . God, figure it out. You don't have pulled pork or brisket and you call yourself a smokehouse? Never again, this place sucks.

Amazing food, fun atmosphere and the owners are great! No need to decide between Grandma Shelly’s Apple crisp and Brownie Sunday - get both you won’t be disappointed!!.
best brisket ever, and I have had brisket everywhere
As a bbq enthusiast I really was not really impressed with the food. We got the 4 meet platter, ribs, brisket, chicken wings, and meatloaf. Was dry and crumbly. Good sauces. But the food needed some work. Not sure I’ll be back.

Great location. Lots of parking. Nice decor. Great waitress. I really want these guys to make it, but the food was very disappointing. Dry brisket, prime rib, and chicken wings. Poor corn bread. Everything was reheated on a Saturday afternoon. Look, it's difficult to smoke meats in a restaurant. But this was some of the worst I've ever had. That coupled with a messy floor, messy restroom, and a ton of fruit flies and I just cannot recommend this place to anyone. Please work on the food and cleanliness. We really do want you to succeed.

First time we went there we asked DJ if we could have a sampler of all of the BBQ items as we wanted to try everything. He was very accommodating and brought out a platter of brisket, sausage, cole slaw, mac n cheese, ribs, pulled pork, wings and burnt ends. All were excellent. We have been back 4 times now and the food is very consistently great,.
ps the brisket tacos are off the hook good!!!!!
They also have 1919 root beer on tap!!!!!

At 7:00 pm they were out of ribs, chicken wings, and prime rib on a Saturday night. We decided to have brisket nachos and nothing else because they were out of the items we wanted to try. The brisket was dry. Server should have informed us when we sat down that they were out of these 3 major items on their menu.

We could bring our dog to the patio! Enjoyed the brisket & pork. Good, not the best I’ve had. Beers on tap were just okay for me - we like dark beers and zero choices (except Guinness) are common. Service was excellent & attentive.

My husband and I stopped for lunch Sunday afternoon. Our server was super friendly, and we didn't have to wait to long for our food either! We shared a 3 meat platter with 3 sides. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, and jalapeños sausage, with coleslaw, baked beans, and augratin potatoes. Everything was delicious! We've traveled the south quite a bit, and as such, have had some *really* good BBQ... so I am pretty picky when it comes to BBQ. Hudson's did not disappoint!! Very authentic Texas Pit style ?- everything had the perfect amount of smokiness, and was seasoned well. The baked beans and brisket were definitely standouts- but honestly it was all really tasty! They have a great selection of homemade sauces that were perfect compliments to the meat. We will definitely be back! If you're in the area, I highly recommend!
