Really disappointed in this restaurant! Almost 2 months ago they changed their menu with higher prices and they still have their old menu pricing on their website. We drove 50 miles to dine there and was very disappointed to see a new menu with much higher prices. They no longer offer the the 2, 3, or 4 meat sampler platters. Over 2 weeks ago we stopped there and told our server their website was disceptive, but to date they still have not changed their website menu. Food is very good, but their business integrity is terrible!

If you're in the area and want a drink. This isn't a terrible establishment. We had great service and the place was nice. The food however was NOT worth the price. The brisket was insanely dry and no smoke flavor came through. If you need to serve your brisket with a multitude of sauces. Its not melt in your mouth BBQ. Definitely go to Smokey Jake's in Aitkin. When you walk in you immediately get that smokey BBQ smell and get melt in your mouth meats. Won't be going back.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Hudson Smokehouse! It’s honestly hard to find really good BBQ up north, so we were extra excited to try this place, and it completely delivered. We bought one of the B Bay gift certificates to try. From the moment we walked in, the awesome staff made us feel welcome and genuinely happy to be there. Friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. And the brisket wow. Tender, juicy, perfectly smoked, and packed with rich flavor. This is the kind of BBQ that proves you can find top-tier smokehouse food up north when it’s done right. Hudson Smokehouse nails it: incredible food, fantastic service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’re so glad BBay led us here. This place is a true BBQ gem, and we’ll absolutely be back.

For a bar and grill type restaurant, they have excellent food. We had their prime rib sandwich and their brisket sandwich. Both were delicious 😋. My husband was pleasantly surprised by the smokiness of the prime rib and enjoyed it. This is definitely our go-to place for Texas-style barbecue.

With smokehouses getting as common as Mc D's now days it's hard to set one above the rest and here we are. This place is a perfect fit for the area, open and clean. There is a pretty cool outdoor seating area and fire pit. Good place to bring groups. The menu has several shareable options.

Cool relaxed vibe. Bartender was friendly and food was great. Ribs and spicy Hudson sauce are worth a try. Decent beer selection and fill bar.
Alex was the best bartender I’ve ever had. Blown away by the service. And salon was also amazing. So welcoming and warm and friendly not to mention hilarious! The food was great! We will be back tomorrow

We have eaten here 4 times. Food is absolutely great. But service is definitely hit and miss. From my experience it’s very understaffed. So service is horrible because servers are running non stop with no help. 100% not servers fault. On our last visit we got our food and they instantly went to next table so we had no drinks while eating. And server never came back till got bill. We even stood at bar for 10 mins asking for more drinks before getting their attention. 15 mins later they brought a tray of waters. Again not servers fault 100% on owners for severely understaffing on a Friday night. At min they should have a bartender handling drinks not the server. 1 out of 4 times did have great service. So hopefully they get this figured out because this can be an amazing restaurant.

horrible service tonight, never had anyone offer to fill our drinks or check on us, had to go stand by the bar to ask for check after waiting at the table for a long time and then the check was incorrect. prime rib and mac and cheese weren't good. Mac and cheese was dry and had weird sour taste.

Absolutely horrible service. No signs saying seat yourself or wait to be seated, no signs for bathrooms. Food came fast after ordering and that was the only thing that went well. Took a long time for someone to come to table, they never came back. Had to ask for check at the bar and had to go back because they messed it up. I paid using QR code on receipt which was a clunky process too and they didnt even come back to make sure I paid. The mac and cheese had a spur taste and was so dry. Prime rib had a weird taste and we had to go to the bar to ask for au jus. Brisket was dry.
