Had the brisket Mac and cheese, food was terrible,Mac and Cheese was so dry, And there's nothing like watching your brisket being microwaved in a plastic ziploc bag and throw it on your Mac and cheese to make it more appealing,

Super friendly and helpful staff, quick service, amazing food.
I had the brisket which was disappointing, almost as much fat as meat. The Mac and cheese was dry as well as the corn bread muffin. The ribs are overpriced for the amount you receive.
Nobody really greets you at the door , you just have to seat yourself and wonder when you will be served.
Not gonna return

Absolutely fantastic place! The smell when you walk up to it tells you what it's about: smoked meat. The waiter, Jordan I believe his name was, was a very pleasant person. Quick to answer, was willing to say when he didn't know something, and was working well with us without being overbearing. The brisket took my wife back to Texas, and the street tacos she's saying is the best she's ever had! The only disappointing thing: you can't buy the BBQ sauces they serve! I can, and WILL, be telling everyone I know about The Hudson Smokehouse, and thankfully, I know a LOT of people!

Owners and staff were excellent. Buy a beer and get free raffle ticket for a bike. Top notch experience. Redbull on tv. My kind of place. Fellow service industry worker from ND
Service was friendly and prompt. The brisket was excellent with a great smoky flavor and the pulled pork was top notch. The au gratins were very good as was the corn muffin. I would definitely go back.

I was surprised to see a lot of the reviews that the service was poor, or they were out of a lot of stuff. Had a great lunch yesterday with excellent service, and outstanding food. I’ve been to a lot of barbecue places in my day and this is the top three for sure. We did the brisket tacos, which were great and the brisket sandwich with coleslaw, which was also phenomenal.
Anyone whining about the service should realize it’s an “up north” kinda place, and clearly started as a bar first.

To start the brisket was as good as everyone said. Melt in your mouth for sure. The Mac n cheese was dry and terrible. The prime rib was just a bit tough and dry. Cornbread was great! The Long Island was fantastic. Service was good and staff friendly. Good atmosphere as well. If not for the absolutely horrible Mac n cheese and prime rib, I would have given them a lot more credit here. Oh and the sauces they have are amazing. No complaints for the bbq sauces! Overall though could have been much better.

Service was excellent. Food was ok. The cream based coleslaw has no real flavor. The pulled pork was quite good. The spare ribs were over priced for the amount provided. They were cooked well. The menu was limited as some things were out including any chicken. There was no trivia night as advertised on the wall. But maybe that is for off season? Hooey beer was good. Would I go back as a tourist??? Maybe?

They aren't going to make it. We've been there a few times, with no improvement. This last time was around 6pm on a Thursday. They were or if many menu items, including brisket, pulled pork & several sides. I finally gave up guessing what they might have & ordered grilled cheese. It was supposed to be on Texas Toast. The whole thing was about 3/8 inch thick, cold & stuck to the plate. Awful!
We waited nearly 30 minutes to order our food. At first, we assumed the waiter was just to busy to see us. However, as the restaurant cleared out around 7pm, it never got any better. Seems he was busy chasing squirrels or something.
On the upside, they had Meatloaf & my wife said it was pretty good.
