“I don’t know what this place is doing but they’re doing it right. That was the best smash burger I have ever had. The fries… perfectly seasoned, not greasy, not dry… just perfection. If I had some pictures to share I would but the cheese curds appetizer got me too excited for the rest of my meal. Thank you all so much for providing such a delicious and unique eating experience!”

“We showed up at 7 pm on Father’s Day and Hudson’s had been slammed all weekend. DJ (the smoker), told us they were out of the brisket and a couple other things. We were disappointed but decided to stay. Everything we ordered was PHENOMENAL (pulled pork, meatloaf, shaved prime rib)-drinks, food, and dessert. It was cool to hear DJ’s Mom makes the lasagna, sides and desserts. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, excellent food with generous portions. Highly recommend.”

“Quaint place in downtown Crosby. It's cozy. A place to hang out with friends and family. Including well behaved doggos! Beer and tea are good. Plenty of seating. Bar is at one end, overlooking all of the seating. Merch wall adjacent to the bar. Kid friendly. They share a space with Burrito California. Bailey was awesome! She was fast without being rude about it. Took the time to chat with me and my kids. Make sure to take time to stop in when you're in the Lakes area!”

“Stopped in this rainy summer Friday morning for breakfast. It was busy but the staff had smiles on their faces and were moving around as fast as they could taking care of everything. We got the HuGe Carmel roll as an appetizer and it was amazing. The rest of the food came out tasting incredible and steaming hot. Coffee never got empty either. Excited to come back and try more things.”

“Happened to be in Crosby for lunch today and decided to stop in. The place was nice and clean. We ate the brisket sandwich with fries and a side of onion rings. We also had a raspberry mojito, which wasn't overly sweet. Everything was delicious! We ended the meal with dessert naanchos, which were also great. I definitely recommend this restaurantt, and plan on returning next time I'm in town. Tasty food and wonderful service!”

“When we pay as much as we did for Ruttger's Bay Lake Resort, we expected everything to be fantastic. The experience still was good but with some notable exceptions. The 9--hole golf course and the outdoor swimming pool both were closed for repairs. The beach was available, but the lake had a rocky bottom that was uncomfortable to walk on, and getting in and out of the beach area involved either climbing over rocks or negotiating very steep steps with no banister. The marina, on the other hand, was terrific, with a lot of boating options. A kayaking outing one of us took on Bay Lake revealed loons and even a bald eagle. Communication was a bit off. The staff at the front desk told us that there was no putting green, but when we visited the pro shop, we found out that there was one, with free golf clubs and balls to boot. Likewise, a staff member at the main restaurant told us there was no alternative to a pricey seafood boil, but actually there was one, just across the hall. Finally, the bingo game was in a different room -- and floor -- than the one printed on the schedule, leading to people roaming around the lodge trying to find the game. Our villa had all of the amenities of an apartment, and all in fine working order. The only small glitch was that the blinds were open in the bathroom, and the only way to reach them to close them was to step into the Jacuzzi. We enjoyed the activities on nights when the resort had them and could find good movies on the TV in the room when it did not.”

“Nice little establishment with friendly folks on both sides of the bar. Weekly meat raffles and plenty of pull tabs to choose from. All in all a quiet friendly place to spend a little leisure time.”

“My 1st time at this location/in this city too! I had a coupon, but then I realized it had expired two months earlier. The employee was super nice and didn't make new feel like an idiot, thankfully! Thank you for that! I took a few pictures, enjoy! GPS is a little odd, so pay attention. Make sure you get the coupons or use the app to save money

“Where to begin with describing the experience at Ruby's dining room....For starters, I get goosebumps every time I walk into those hallowed halls. The great ceilings, the nostalgia, the history....if only those walls could talk....I'd go to Ruby's to eat week old Kraft mac 'n' cheese just to be there and soak it all in, but luckily I don't have to.In fact, the converse of that is also true....I'd go to eat in a cinder block bunker in January to enjoy the wonderful tablefare served at Ruby's. You can tell pretty quickly, and pretty easily, when you're dining at an establishment that employs a team of chefs versus a handful of cooks....and the chefs at Ruby's/Ruttger's don't disappoint. There are people who are "chefs" by title only, and then there are true culinary artists. The chefs at Ruttger's are the latter. The kitchen is their orchestra hall, the food is their musicians, and what ends up being served on your plate is their wonderful symphony.When the ambiance and atmosphere of such a historic, truly wonderful venue is combined with cuisine as magnificent as I just described?You get to enjoy the fine dining that can only be experienced at Ruby's Dining Room.”
