He had 6 customers before us, and even though he was the only one working, he acknowledged each of us, and was concerned to get our orders correct. Awesome service and food! This kid represents Subway well!”

“I put a high value on being able to talk to the others at the table and Antlers has always provided that. We did go with another couple, and both ordered similar items off the menu. Unfortunately the walleye and soup was served somewhere between luke warm and cold. I guess room temeprature would best describe it. Being on Valentines Day, we were dissappointed to not find and special meal for two or even any sort of change to their menu. This restaurant has so much potential and yet they seem to do the same menu over and over again which is a little disappointing.”

“My family (husband, 3 boys, and I) came here on a Wednesday morning at about 8 am. The parking lot was mostly full, but there were many tables open inside. The restaurant was decorated with vintage/antique/recycled items, and sunshine streams in through the front window making it warm and inviting. We ordered at the counter, then found a table to sit at while we waited for our food. The beverages are self-serve, but the food was brought to the table. We didn't wait too long, and we were rewarded with wonderful food and smiling service! My husband and I ordered The Whole 9 Yards (eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, and potatoes all covered in sausage gravy), my 11-year-old and 6-year-old ordered the French Toast Special, and my 9 y.o. ordered a blueberry pancake - which the waitress/hostess said was very large - and it was, about the size of 3 pancakes! The pancake tasted like a blueberry muffin and needed no syrup. The Whole 9 Yards was rich and tasty! The French toast was served with bacon and cheesy scrambled eggs and was quickly devoured. Everyone thought that everything was very good! If we are in the area again, we would definitely go back!”

“First time in Nisswa and we always ask the locals where to eat (everyone loves to talk food) :) When pizza was mentioned Rafferty's was the place to go. My other half is gluten free so it's always a struggle to find good GF crust. The young lady working the counter was great, took the time to show us which crust they use for GF pizza. Ordered a taco pizza and was nice to see chips on the pizza (a lost art).We really enjoyed the pizza. It's thinner than most so don't feel as guilty eating pizza and so stuffed once done. I'd certainly eat there again, the gluten free was spot on, wouldn't know it was GF if didn't order it ourselves. A+ coming from a couple of true foodies!!Now here's the funny part...had leftovers and once back to Grand View Lodge pizza box would not fit in little fridge, so with it being cool outside set it on the patio chair. Looked out a bit later and even squirrels can't resist Rafferty's Pizza! Let him have his fill of two full slices of taco pizza :)”

“Fabulous little coffee shop! The scones are the best I've ever had - made fresh, moist, interesting flavor selections & seasonal menu options - lavender, pumpkin, chai, banana! The peach scone is my favorite. I highly recommend for those passing through. It's very close to the cottage we are staying at & has a cozy vibe. PS - they have a drive thru & fast service.Vegetarian options: Milk options.”

“Fantastic experience at this small town coffee shop. I'm pretty picky, and downright cynical when it comes to rural coffee, but this place really delivers on a smooth cortado and espresso flavor. It's not overly acidic/sour/light, but also not intensely dark.I was pleasantly suprised that two baristas on different weekend visits immediately understood what a cortado was and everyone was friendly.Purchased a bag of the Black Tiger Espresso to use at home and it's fresh, fragrant and smooth. It would be nice to see a roasted-on date with the packaging however, as that omission gave me some heavy pause. However, the friendly staff convinced me it wasn't a month old or anything.PS. Very much appreciated the hot chocolate remake for my 2yr old who dropped hers outside!”

“Theeee best brew pub with in-house brewing in the Brainerd/Breezy Point/Nisswa area! The ambiance was inviting, the owner/bartender/brew-master was friendly and informative, and the brews are PHENOMENAL. From the best American IPA (Downrange) to the best customizable Sour Ale (Wretched Ale - Blood Orange flavor) to the best N/A Snarky Craft Soda (Orange Cream). Their flavors are all natural with no corn syrups and no sugar added. They even have delicious oven baked, no fry food. I heard they have live music on the weekends too! Snarky Loon Brewing Co. has everything you’ve been searching for in between your northern adventures! Veteran owned and operated. Thanks for a great experience Joe!!!”

“The breakfast sandwiches are made to order and are good. They make Carmel rolls that are huge! Coffee and coffee drinks are delicious. My Americano had a wonderful small chocolate cookie on the lid today. It makes the coffee drinks extra special with little cookies. Always friendly staff too.”

“Stopped here for dinner on a Wednesday evening and was quickly greeted by a nice bartender. We grabbed a table and the server was alone in the place that was quite busy. “We are happy to enjoy a mexican food joint in pequot when the craving strikes, although some times this place can be a hit or a miss, we have had amazing food and service, and then we have had mediocre service and quality even when it's slow. Also, have showed up and had been closed a couple times. Beware, the building is in rough shape, needs total remodel, so if you don't look too close at the details, this places does satisfy a hungry for mexican food tummy!”

“If you are looking for the best pancakes in town, this is the place! Their wild rice omelette was average, will probably try a more staple meal next time we go. The staff was very friendly, very attentive to our coffee as well.”

“Zorbaz is always a classic dive with great food and they earn their 5 stars every time. We stopped here during the cross lake chili fest and it was a fun and energetic atmosphere, for sure. We got the Greek pizza, but took the black olives off- super good! Really nice pesto with it. We also got the full size nachos with chicken, which were both delicious and huge. We had to order at the bar, typical of all Zorbaz locations, but the service was not bad!”

“Sunday morning bloody Mary's were a winner! We didn't eat, but a group of 12 women near us were pleased with their breakfasts. The patio out back is beautiful. Lots of cool potted plants that are for sale. There's also a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. I'll be back for breakfast!”
