“My husband and I stopped here for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. Everything was great! There are so many different drinks to choose from and their cinnamon rolls looked amazing. Next time!”
“We can't speak more highly of luckys! The menu is huge, everything delicious and large portions! BEST bar chairs you will ever sit on in your life! The staff is always on top of your every need. There is a reason this place is always busy. Have been here 100+ times and never leave disappointed!”
“Cozy well run, clean and quiet restaurant. Perfect for families, small groups and couples. Good menu variety. Great food, I enjoyed the lasagna. Frequent check ins from the staff and one by the cook. Good food temperature. I'm going back again.”
“We are happy to enjoy a mexican food joint in pequot when the craving strikes, although some times this place can be a hit or a miss, we have had amazing food and service, and then we have had mediocre service and quality even when it's slow. Also, have showed up and had been closed a couple times. Beware, the building is in rough shape, needs total remodel, so if you don't look too close at the details, this places does satisfy a hungry for mexican food tummy!”
“If you are looking for the best pancakes in town, this is the place! Their wild rice omelette was average, will probably try a more staple meal next time we go. The staff was very friendly, very attentive to our coffee as well.”
“We had the rib-eye, the scotch eggs and the flank steak appetizer and everything was stellar! The restaurant is very new and everything looks great. Very homey and cozy. I will definitely be back and hope to see the scotch eggs available to buy by the dozen! ??”
“Went there for the New Years Eve Buffet. Absolutely delicious. Prime Rib made perfectly, crab legs, ribs, chicken, lobster bisque - all so delicious. And a wonderful assortment of excellent desserts. Doesn't get any better. Couldn't be more impressed. Great great job to the kitchen and wait staff.”
“We had reservations at 6, shows up 10 minutes early and were seated right away. Service was good. I believe they run short handed like most restaurants. I had the Filet and my wife had the salmon both were great. My wife and I visited a second time, a year apart the night before the Super Bowl. I really wanted to give a great review for our second visit but unfortunately that is not the case this time. We were seated write away, took about 15 minutes for a staff member to come to our table. We arrived at 550pm, at 710 pm is when we were served our meal. The restaurant was busy but there were still open tables. My wife had the walleye and her meal was fine. I had the shrimp scampi and Au Gratin potatoes. My shrimp was way overcooked (for the 5 shrimp you get) and warm. My potatoes were cool to slightly warm. Also they had 4 different servers in our section, I believe this is why we never seen our server being we were the only ones he served in this section. I think it would have made more sense to optimize there servers into sections. Just my opinion, but the 2 ladies I seen working the section were always there. All in all I still would go back, I just wish the food would have been hot after all the time we waited.”
“The gentleman at the counter was fantastic helpful and knowledgeable and friendlyKid-friendliness: Visited with my 20 month Grandson Finn while ordering.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking available and handy there.”
“The Coffee House has a fairly extensive and creative menu of flavored coffee, tea, blended drinks, and Italian soda. There are the standard pastry and food options as well. The coffee is decent, but the service is great. The baristas are friendly and”
“My favorite locally owned and operated bar & grill always low key and great service everytime. I highly recommend their breakfast biscuits and gravy were really good.”
“We had a great experience eating here. The kids I was with said the cheeseburgers were the second best they had ever had (the first being ones made at home). The waitress was very friendly and the food was good!”
“For us. I do not give 5 stars out easily but for the three of us tonight I can say this was a great experience for us. Note it was the end of the season and we were the only people eating we ate early and more may have come later. So we had great service from Andrew. Very special attention and we had a great time talking about food experiences and restaurants. The food we ate was very good. We started with the burnt ends. Lots of flavor but a tiny bit dry for me. I had the full rack of ribs. Very flavorful rub and the side of BBQ sauce was wonderful. Even on the fries. Big slice of potato and wonderfully cooked fries. They were the size of a quarter of a dill pickle. My wife had the catfish. Good breading and a nice hit of hot spice. She had a very good remoulade sauce with it. Both dishes had good corn on the cob. The banana pudding was a nice finish. I could have used a nice stiff whipped cream dollop but that was not included. I might ask for that next time. They will be closed the winter of 23/24 for remodeling and I look forward to trying it again.”
“Thursday night at 4:40, we got takeout here. Pickup was fine, we had to wait at the bar for a few minutes, but then we were greeted and our order brought to us. The bar area was clean with both a bar and tables to sit at. We ordered the Garbage pizza and Cheesy garlic bread. Both were good. The pizza was probably a 3/5 and the cheesy bread was a 5/5 - the garlic was very noticeable and so good. We'd get pizza here again.”
“Fantastic experience at this small town coffee shop. I'm pretty picky, and downright cynical when it comes to rural coffee, but this place really delivers on a smooth cortado and espresso flavor. It's not overly acidic/sour/light, but also not intensely dark.I was pleasantly suprised that two baristas on different weekend visits immediately understood what a cortado was and everyone was friendly.Purchased a bag of the Black Tiger Espresso to use at home and it's fresh, fragrant and smooth. It would be nice to see a roasted-on date with the packaging however, as that omission gave me some heavy pause. However, the friendly staff convinced me it wasn't a month old or anything.PS. Very much appreciated the hot chocolate remake for my 2yr old who dropped hers outside!”
“First time in Nisswa and we always ask the locals where to eat (everyone loves to talk food) :) When pizza was mentioned Rafferty's was the place to go. My other half is gluten free so it's always a struggle to find good GF crust. The young lady working the counter was great, took the time to show us which crust they use for GF pizza. Ordered a taco pizza and was nice to see chips on the pizza (a lost art).We really enjoyed the pizza. It's thinner than most so don't feel as guilty eating pizza and so stuffed once done. I'd certainly eat there again, the gluten free was spot on, wouldn't know it was GF if didn't order it ourselves. A+ coming from a couple of true foodies!!Now here's the funny part...had leftovers and once back to Grand View Lodge pizza box would not fit in little fridge, so with it being cool outside set it on the patio chair. Looked out a bit later and even squirrels can't resist Rafferty's Pizza! Let him have his fill of two full slices of taco pizza :)”
“Theeee best brew pub with in-house brewing in the Brainerd/Breezy Point/Nisswa area! The ambiance was inviting, the owner/bartender/brew-master was friendly and informative, and the brews are PHENOMENAL. From the best American IPA (Downrange) to the best customizable Sour Ale (Wretched Ale - Blood Orange flavor) to the best N/A Snarky Craft Soda (Orange Cream). Their flavors are all natural with no corn syrups and no sugar added. They even have delicious oven baked, no fry food. I heard they have live music on the weekends too! Snarky Loon Brewing Co. has everything you’ve been searching for in between your northern adventures! Veteran owned and operated. Thanks for a great experience Joe!!!”
“Fantastic, friendly service. Amazing donuts. Try the Italian bread, drizzled with spices, which will make your car smell like a high-end pizzeria on the way home. And thank you to the handsome devil in back for baking it all!”
“Lifehouse is awesome. A warm, welcoming space with fabulous folks who are all about kindness and service. Go there and you'll find everything from toddlers on the floor to groups of seniors countering cabin fever. Great locally roasted coffee, and all sorts of snazzy drinks. Definitely try the oatmeal and the coffee cake!”
“Outstanding pizza, friendly service. You order at the counter and they bring it out. Lots of folks picking up food. Cute, family friendly atmosphere with 8 bowling lanes and a few arcade games.”
“Fabulous little coffee shop! The scones are the best I've ever had - made fresh, moist, interesting flavor selections & seasonal menu options - lavender, pumpkin, chai, banana! The peach scone is my favorite. I highly recommend for those passing through. It's very close to the cottage we are staying at & has a cozy vibe. PS - they have a drive thru & fast service.Vegetarian options: Milk options.”
“I ate here for my first time. Best sandwich I ever had. The cheeseburger sandwich. Also the best chicken wild rice soup ever. Highly recommend ...5 stars for sure. Can't wait to go back!”
“The historical log building will take your breath away, then you will have service second to none, and the food is so delicious you'll be back! Comfortable style, like being home. We're looking forward to sitting on the back deck when the snow melts.”
“Stopped here for dinner on a Wednesday evening and was quickly greeted by a nice bartender. We grabbed a table and the server was alone in the place that was quite busy. She did wonderful until her help arrived. Cold drinks and great food. Definitely return here in the future.Dietary restrictions: Not a ton of GF options”
“Always good food and friendly, attentive staff who keep the coffee coming. Smaller old school cafe. My parents especially appreciate their tasty throwback classics: corned beef with eggs and chipped beef on toast. I love the cranberry wild rice toast with a smear of orange marmalade. Sound good? It is.”
“Great beer served in a very cool building. We loved the photos of local railroad history. The patio and outdoor stage looked really nice, but we visited in February.”
“Great place to try wine and relax. Service was friendly. The environment was fun and perfect for a glass of wine. Didn't try the food yet from what I saw it looked wonderful.”
“Staff are always very friendly. The food for me has always been top notch. Very satisfied stopping here for a quick bite to eat. Or to relax and enjoy the atmosphereParking: Spaces fill up quickly when busy”
“Stopped in for supper on the way home, and were pleasantly surprised after hearing some less-than-stellar word of mouth reviews. The atmosphere was nice, with lots of exposed natural-look wood and a homey feel to the bar (kind of a cabin-y look, which I personally enjoy.). The staff were friendly and attentive, and we got our food quickly. Someone at the next table tried the burger challenge, which looked pretty impressive all stacked up (they did not finish, unsurprisingly.)We got a couple of burgers - one mushroom & swiss and one bacon burger. Food was cooked perfectly and very tasty; definitely one of the better burgers I have had in this area. My partner had the cheese curds and they were cooked just right - definitely some of the best we've tried. Portion sizes were very fair for the price. We didn't have any drinks, but the tap selection looked very thorough.I understand Bites is under new management since our visit, and I hope they continue to be successful. We will definitely remember this place on our future travels.”
“Amazing food Everytime. Have been eating here for over 10 years and it's always the friendliest attentive service, and great pizza!Parking: Lots of spaces to park!Kid-friendliness: Super great with kiddos, patient and kind”
