We have been excited to try this place for dinner. Was a little disappointed. Classic greasy bar food. Chicken salad had not much on it and had bag shredded lettuce. Please use fresh lettuce. Mixed drinks were very weak. Maybe the burgers are better. Won’t be back, sadly. If you are from Faribault, stay in town and hit Joe’s, Carbones, Croaked Pint, etc.
If you’re looking for a friendly bar with super service, great food, fantastic staff, brilliant atmosphere and a genuine great place to be, the Toy Box has it all in abundance. They even serve Irish beer! Steve, Lacey and the team are just great people. Go check it out, particularly during the Halfway to Paddy’s Day Festival.
The wait staff was quick and friendly. The food was fantastic. We tried the steak bites and they were delicious. The sandwiches were packed! I recommend the club, the brisket and the beef Philly cheesesteak. The Toybox bloody Mary with pickle vodka was also wonderful.
