B-52 Burgers and Brew Lakeville

Very disappointing experience. I ordered a shrimp taco for my 2-year-old because I thought it would be a better option for him than the other kids’ food. I specifically told our waitress it was for a 2-year-old and even asked that it not be fried. She never mentioned that it was spicy or asked if I wanted it prepared differently.

When the taco came, it was extremely spicy—even for me. There was no way my 2-year-old could eat it. The waitress said she would fix the situation and told us she was going to write it off. We ended up sharing a plain burger with my son instead.

When she brought the bill, the taco was still charged. She didn’t mention anything or explain why she hadn’t removed it. She simply took my card, charged me, and brought the receipt over as if nothing had happened.

I wasn’t expecting anything special—I just expected her to keep her word or at least communicate with us. The way this was handled was incredibly disappointing and made the entire experience feel disrespectful and uncomfortable. The food was okay, but the service completely ruined the experience.

Ava, our wait staff was great. Very attentive. Good atmosphere, it was pretty busy so it was a little loud. I had the walleye tacos with homemade tortilla chips. The tacos had a mango slaw which I was looking forward to. Didn't taste mangos so was a little disappointed but they were still good. The tortilla chips were very good with a great salsa. One of my friends had a Reuben & enjoyed it. My other friend had the BLT with gluten free bread. It was not as good, it was cold so not that appetizing. Would like to come back to try one of their bowls.

This was my first visit here and it was great! I asked for a patio table and within minutes of arriving with my Service Dog and employee brought a big bowl of cold water and asked if he could give it to my dog - that was a first. I really appreciated that care for my dog.

My server was Ashley F. and she was 100% on top of things! She was amazing - she was working behind the bar, taking orders, and serving. My order came out quickly, and she kept up on guest refills, etc.

This was a really good visit and I will definitely be back!
