“We made Chef Neal’s Salsa Verde Shredded Pork Tacos in the crock pot yesterday. OH. MY. WORD. First, the convenience of picking up a ready to make meal from the freezer section was such a relief- no shopping, chopping, or prepping ingredients. Second, the cleanup was a breeze- cut bag, dump ingredients, toss, and go. Third, the mouthwatering aroma - a slow 6 hour nose-tease. Finally, the result was a deliciously juicy pot of tender meat, onions, and spices. We served on small flour tortillas with fresh avocado, sour cream, and a sprinkle of cheese. Everyone happily devoured with plenty of audible “MMMs” around the table. This will definitely be happening again.
