Attempted to walk in around 4:30ish. There were maybe 15 customer cars in the parking lot, and plenty of open tables when walking in. The host said the earliest available seating was 8:00 p.m.
It was just confusing to see what appeared to be a mostly empty restaurant around 4:30-4:45 and be told there wasn’t any availability for another three and a half hours.
Our server, Jackie, was outstanding! We had questions since we had never been there before and she was so kind when answering them all. The food was excellent! We had steaks and salmon amongst the four of us.
The food, service and atmosphere were outstanding. Bonnie who took care of us was phenomenal. We will be back in the near future.
Google maps says it's a 15min wait to be seated. In reality it was 2hr when I called. It's If it's a Friday night plan ahead. Never made it in.
Great food, drinks, service. Love this place. The service was outstanding. The quality is over the top. Everything is always delicious. I have been here at least 5 times. Great place for anniversary and birthday celebrations.
We were treated with calmness when we were at the Porterhouse for dinner. It was very relaxing, no rush to order or hurry up and eat. It was a great experience.
Pam was truly a delight! This was our first time here, and she made the experience unforgettable. She did a fantastic job guiding us through the menu, adding her own personal touch, and making our anniversary dinner feel extra special. Her warm personality and exceptional service made the entire evening memorable. Give this lady a big pat on the back—she’s amazing!

They didn't get steaks done right. I had a ribeye and wanted it medium rare the wife had a filet and wanted it well done. They did the opposite. Not much seasoning on the steak. Not really worth the trip or price
Walleye was exquisite. The fish itself was fresh and of high quality. The preparation (I chose oven) brought out its light, flaky texture and mild taste without drying it out. The baked potato was solid for taste, texture and presentation. Onion soup had rich flavor. It would benefit from a GF bread option in it; eating rich melted cheese in an onion broth was challenging.
Service was exceptional. Tracy, my waiter, was personable and competent. There were sufficient servers for the number of tables. Their commitment to customer experience showed when I asked to return the crab cakes that I disliked. They apologized for my displeasure, took back the cakes, removed it from my bill, and gave me a complimentary cup of decaf. (I am not well familiar with crab cakes and choose not to evaluate that food in itself.)
Atmosphere was pleasant and absorbed sound well. It left a pleasant hum of people enjoying each other’s company over delicious food.

We love Porterhouse for any occasion, but especially for anniversaries special events. Amazing service and food. The french onion soup is delicious along with the black and blue ribeye. I would highly recommend Porterhouse for a great steakhouse.
