Only bottled water for $1. No free water. Employees had an uncomfortable air to them and didn’t have answers for my questions. Added things to our order we didn’t ask for and were charged for them. The political poster at the entrance immediately told me I wasn’t welcome here. I don’t like when bigotry is paraded.

Absolutely charming place, beautiful sunlight casual rustic dining area. The food is very high quality, and very nordic. I would highly recommend this as a breakfast or lunch stop if you are in the area. The ingredients are local and very high quality.
The service is always friendly, and if you show during a non busy time of day they treat you like family.

As a local this is my favorite place to visit for a quiet relaxing breakfast or lunch. The food is consistently good, and the prices are reasonable for the atmosphere, service, and quality of food. My only very minor qualm is that you have to purchase bottled water as outfitting the historic building with the proper filtration would be costly.
Also a great day to stop on for ice cream and refreshments after a day out on the water. Absolutely love it here.

As someone passing through town, it seemed like a no-brainer place to stop for a quick bite: cute downtown environment, historic home converted to a restaurant, and Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream! I had the Swedish meatball sandwich, which was served with chips and a pickle. Overall the food was good, although the bill was a bit high, coming out to around $25 for the sandwich ($16), coffee, credit card surcharge, and a tip.
Visitors should note, however, this is a Christian establishment, with Bible verses posted behind the register and light Christian rock on the radio overhead. While the owner was nice to the tables she visited, my friend and I both overheard that she was being passive-aggressively rude to her high school-aged server who appeared upset by the treatment.
Overall, a cute place for a quick meal, but we left not expecting to return.

The prices felt way out of wack for what was served. Three dollars for an 8oz Diet Coke was wild. Water is bottled and cost $1. Food quality was fine and service was fast and efficient. Overall, wouldn’t stop again when passing through due to the cost not matching the quality of experience even though the environment of an old home was charming.
