“I had a morning appointment that required me to be a little late for work the other day. Of course I had to bring donuts to atone for my tardiness. After my appointment I called Lindstrom Bakery to see if they could put together an assortment of a dozen donuts on short notice. The new owner answered the phone and was extremely friendly and accommodating. Five minutes after we hung up the phone I showed up and my donuts were ready. I love to support my local businesses that have great customer service. The donuts were a big hit at work by the way!”

“Stopped in a couple times on our travels. We've tried the Classic chicken sandwiches (with lettuce, tomatoes, and onion), classic roast beef, beef n cheddar, and Java shakes which is my fave shake anywhere. All have been really good. Great deal when you get the daily or weekly deals for 2/$7. ?”

“Spacious eating area, might get a little loud when full but it was fine for us. We were there for a Friday Fish Fry and the refills were slower than I would expect for the level of busy. Fish was flakey and good but was a pre-battered filet versus hand-dipped. All-in-all, a good time was had by all!”

“Shocker, to find really good Thai food in Chisago. I had the green curry, it was a little spicy for me, but maybe next time, I'll request a little less spice. Interior is fairly basic. Service was slow and random, but the food was worth the wait. Next time may order to go.”

“We went for the 5th anniversary celebration. It was fantastic. Lots of people, good cold beer, plenty of seating indoors, and a fire outside. It's always been a great destination. It's worth visiting if you haven't already. Staff is friendly and it's pet friendly too. A perfect getaway.”

“Pizza is delicious, spaghetti too. Antipasta salad is a nice addition to your order. Cheesey bread needs to be consumned as well. Atmosphere takes me back to the early 90's. Not many spots to dine inside, so order out or get there early.Parking: Nestled between the bank and liquor store. Plenty of parking. Look for the Dala Horse in the corner of the lot- you've found the right place.”

Something that bothered me today was that one of the staff, a male cashier, purposely photo bombed multiple photos, that another (very nice female busser) was taking of my partner and I. It was unprofessional. Thankfully the girl taking the photos continued to take multiple shots and by the last couple photos, he had left.”

“Stopped in for Monday night bingo and it was a good time for everyone in our group. We had French fries, California burgers, and signature burgers (burgers were on special) along with loaded nachos. The service was just right too. We will definitely be back for bingo and burgers, maybe even a pizza next time. Was a nice experience.Parking: There is parking out front of the building on both sides of the street and there is also a decent sized lot out back for overflow parking all of which is close to an entrance.”

“Every time I come to this bar I am welcomed with such warm smiles and a cold drink. So thankful for all of the girls at tailgaters, especially Shelbie & Tehya for being some of the best, and friendliest bartenders around! Shelbie is very efficient and always has drinks ready for my friends and I. Shelbie is always checking in with us, making sure we’re okay & don’t need anything and that is very much appreciated. Tailgater’s is definitely our go to place because of the staff (Shelbie, T, Ashley, & Sarah) & them going above and beyond to make sure we have a good time.”

“Hadn't been there since the kids were little but they're close and not a chain so we gave them another try. We were very pleasantly surprised, it's still a small town cafe but they have definitely upped their game. I had a half order of spaghetti which was a full meal and it was delicious, the wife had the hot beef and it was so much she couldn't finish it. And while they were both basic foods they didn't ruin them by trying to create something else. They were tasty and full of flavor, and the kicker, we both ate for under 30$. Try that at a fast food no taste place. we'll definitely be going back soon.”

“I've been to the Grillium now a few times since my last review and each time the food was consistently good, hot, and flavorful. My favorites was the beef gyro. It's something I can't make at home, so it was a real treat. The BLAT - with the addition of an avocado - was amazing! The sandwich was a generous portion - enough for dinner and lunch the next day.”

“I have been to Mallards many times and have tried a variety of items on the menu. Today though I was disappointed. I ordered the blackened fish tacos and I can say I won't order those again in the future. They were incredibly sour. It was also very difficult to eat because the tortilla used just completely fell apart from how wet the food was with the fish, slaw, pico etc. I can normally be alright with things being messy but the food itself didn't taste good.”
