“Cute cafe. I had dinner here before and it was not my favorite, but the breakfast today was really good. Something that bothered me today was that one of the staff, a male cashier, purposely photo bombed multiple photos, that another (very nice female busser) was taking of my partner and I. It was unprofessional. Thankfully the girl taking the photos continued to take multiple shots and by the last couple photos, he had left.”

“It was a Monday night 1/2 price burger baskets, They had pool table leagues going on and only the bartender and cook was working so the bartender was extremely busy but she did the best she could. The girlfriend and myself both got burger baskets and they were excellent.”

“Had lunch after our trip on the train. We were with a large group of friends. We were able to call ahead and told them we had a large group and they were able to accommodate us when we got there. The food was fabulous. Had the classic hamburger and it was very good! My husband had the Ruben and he said it was small but very good. Will most definitely come back again.”

“Excellent location. Usually go to a different one but decided to visit this one tonight. They have a lot more options for chips and drinks than the one I usually visit. Very friendly and paid close attention to detail so nothing was missing. Other subways forget my cookies, but I saw this guy checking and double checking my order. We might make the drive from St.Croix Falls to come here instead from now on.”

“Was just passing through on our way to our cabin we've been skeptical about going there because every time we do the order is wrong and the staff are rude. Not yesterday! The staff were pleasant and smiling, the service was fast and efficient despite waiting for fresh strips. The gal who was assisting us was the new store manager. She apologized for the slight wait for fresh food even brought us our tray, and even came back a second time to make sure things tasted okay and to see if we needed anything. The restaurant itself looked cleaner and had a more positive atmosphere. We will definitely be back Sunday when we head home! Thank you for the awesome service! “My husband and I are huge fans of Tangled up in Blue! We love the small intimate atmosphere. The food is amazing, The chef really knows how to cook and you wont be disapointed. This is a family owned and operated small restaurant, so the staff always knows who we are, and its nice to catch up when we stop in.”

“Pizza is delicious, spaghetti too. Antipasta salad is a nice addition to your order. Cheesey bread needs to be consumned as well. Atmosphere takes me back to the early 90's. Not many spots to dine inside, so order out or get there early.Parking: Nestled between the bank and liquor store. Plenty of parking. Look for the Dala Horse in the corner of the lot- you've found the right place.”

“My boyfriend and I came here to eat, we both got omelettes. Mine was pretty good, a little bland but easily fixed with salt and pepper. My boyfriend had requested his omelette not have mushrooms, when it came out it had mushrooms. He was just picking them out when he found plastic in his food. We informed the waitress, Kim, and she was super helpful, kind, and understanding of the mistake, didn’t seem annoyed at all like some waitresses would get being that were pretty busy. They definitely made up for their mistake. Thank you, Kim :-)”

“We were just driving by finding somewhere to eat quick and wow we don’t live close and we will be back! The food was so good! Even my boyfriend was impressed and he hates going out! The server was nice and attentive and seemed like a cute family vibe! “Stopped in for Monday night bingo and it was a good time for everyone in our group. We had French fries, California burgers, and signature burgers (burgers were on special) along with loaded nachos. The service was just right too. We will definitely be back for bingo and burgers, maybe even a pizza next time. Was a nice experience.Parking: There is parking out front of the building on both sides of the street and there is also a decent sized lot out back for overflow parking all of which is close to an entrance.”

“Headed to the Brookside bar and Grill with my sister and my brother-in-law. It is warm and cozy inside this pub. Beer was delicious with many choices, the food was also very good, and our server was Rosie, who was one of the owners. The atmosphere was very warm with two TVs above the bar, and a very large outdoor area that is open during the summer with live music. It was great conversation between the three of us as we ate our early dinner and enjoyed our beers. There is definitely a plan to come back during the summer months and enjoy the outdoor music and the large patio and back. If you're ever visiting along the St. Croix river between Minnesota and Wisconsin, I suggested you visit this beautiful bar and grill and enjoy a good meal. Say 'Hi' to Rosie for me!”

“I had a morning appointment that required me to be a little late for work the other day. Of course I had to bring donuts to atone for my tardiness. After my appointment I called Lindstrom Bakery to see if they could put together an assortment of a dozen donuts on short notice. The new owner answered the phone and was extremely friendly and accommodating. Five minutes after we hung up the phone I showed up and my donuts were ready. I love to support my local businesses that have great customer service. The donuts were a big hit at work by the way!”

“I've been to the Grillium now a few times since my last review and each time the food was consistently good, hot, and flavorful. My favorites was the beef gyro. It's something I can't make at home, so it was a real treat. The BLAT - with the addition of an avocado - was amazing! The sandwich was a generous portion - enough for dinner and lunch the next day.”

Take a road trip to Marine on St. Croix for breakfast or lunch, adorable gift shopping with everything you can imagine and fresh roasted coffee on the spot! The staff is friendly and owner David does all the cooking on a panini grill and convection oven. Have a mimosa, too. My omelette was delicious with spinach and cheese plus bacon on top or walnuts!! “All in all this a great place if you are craving that "chipotle" style of Mexican food. Portions are generous, prices are basically on point with pretty much everywhere else these days, wife had a quesadilla while I had a burrito bowl and it ran about $35 with tip. Lots of seating with a very open floor concept.”

“After reading other reviews of the Crystal tavern the wife and I decided to give it a shot. It's true that you get free drinks if you're gambling! They have a few 4 seat tables and possibly the most comfortable bar stools I've ever sat on. The only thing that I didn't like about our experience was that our Jack and Cokes were extremely weak, like 1/2 of an ounce and served in a disposable cup. I guess that's why the majority of the people there were drinking cans/bottles of beer.Pull tabs + free drinks= fun! That is if you win. Worth a stop though.”
