“I've been to the Grillium now a few times since my last review and each time the food was consistently good, hot, and flavorful. My favorites was the beef gyro. It's something I can't make at home, so it was a real treat. The BLAT - with the addition of an avocado - was amazing! The sandwich was a generous portion - enough for dinner and lunch the next day.”
“I just had the best breakfast at Meister’s! I ordered the “Spicy Morning After” and it was fantastic! Their cooks are talented beyond their years. Do yourself a favor, go there for breakfast; stay for lunch and take home dinner!”
“We went for the 5th anniversary celebration. It was fantastic. Lots of people, good cold beer, plenty of seating indoors, and a fire outside. It's always been a great destination. It's worth visiting if you haven't already. Staff is friendly and it's pet friendly too. A perfect getaway.”
“Shocker, to find really good Thai food in Chisago. I had the green curry, it was a little spicy for me, but maybe next time, I'll request a little less spice. Interior is fairly basic. Service was slow and random, but the food was worth the wait. Next time may order to go.”
“A restaurant with true Regulars. Daily specials and the best value in town. Excellent seating for groups. A Family Restaurant, and you betcha they earned that title.Vegetarian options: If you don't order bacon, most everything is excellent. Pick and choose a bit.Dietary restrictions: Let them know and they will do their best.Parking: Parallel spots on both sides. A few lots scattered around. Cross at the crosswalks.Kid-friendliness: The most welcome place in townWheelchair accessibility: Most of their customers have been there so long that they eventually need a wheelchair. Understanding.”
“As an artist this place is so cool to visit. Feels like an installation exhibit experience. The art is so unique. The beers are also delicious and unique to other things you can get in the larger area. I am obsessed with the spicy margarita pickle beer. I hope they put it on the permanent menu because I cant get enough. But anything you order here you can count on it being very flavorful and worth while!”
“Lovely lil lady in front of house, definitely found a new local favorite. Singapore Mai fun was amazing, tho, I like spicy, so next time I'll have em add a bit more. Perfect amount of vegetables to meat to nood! Highly recommend!Parking: Not the best for parking, but the fact I hit five stars, on every thing else. It's worth it.”
“Stopped in for Monday night bingo and it was a good time for everyone in our group. We had French fries, California burgers, and signature burgers (burgers were on special) along with loaded nachos. The service was just right too. We will definitely be back for bingo and burgers, maybe even a pizza next time. Was a nice experience.Parking: There is parking out front of the building on both sides of the street and there is also a decent sized lot out back for overflow parking all of which is close to an entrance.”
“Sam was a great waitress, she really did a excellent job. We had 7 in town for Easter weekend. Many had the broasted chicken special, which was very good. We will definitely be back sometime.”
“Cute cafe. I had dinner here before and it was not my favorite, but the breakfast today was really good. Something that bothered me today was that one of the staff, a male cashier, purposely photo bombed multiple photos, that another (very nice female busser) was taking of my partner and I. It was unprofessional. Thankfully the girl taking the photos continued to take multiple shots and by the last couple photos, he had left.”
“Headed to the Brookside bar and Grill with my sister and my brother-in-law. It is warm and cozy inside this pub. Beer was delicious with many choices, the food was also very good, and our server was Rosie, who was one of the owners. The atmosphere was very warm with two TVs above the bar, and a very large outdoor area that is open during the summer with live music. It was great conversation between the three of us as we ate our early dinner and enjoyed our beers. There is definitely a plan to come back during the summer months and enjoy the outdoor music and the large patio and back. If you're ever visiting along the St. Croix river between Minnesota and Wisconsin, I suggested you visit this beautiful bar and grill and enjoy a good meal. Say 'Hi' to Rosie for me!”
“I recently had the London Fog tea at Wheelhouse and it was perfection! Black tea with lavender and honey, topped off with milk froth, I believe. If you are a tea drinker I highly recommend!”
“Hadn't been there since the kids were little but they're close and not a chain so we gave them another try. We were very pleasantly surprised, it's still a small town cafe but they have definitely upped their game. I had a half order of spaghetti which was a full meal and it was delicious, the wife had the hot beef and it was so much she couldn't finish it. And while they were both basic foods they didn't ruin them by trying to create something else. They were tasty and full of flavor, and the kicker, we both ate for under 30$. Try that at a fast food no taste place. we'll definitely be going back soon.”
“Welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff and owner. Breakfast was hot, fast, and delicious. Can’t wait to come back to try the lunch menu and a take & bake pot pie.”
“What a hidden gem!! This spot is two for one . . Surf Shop ambiance plus St. Croix Coffee Roasters! Take a road trip to Marine on St. Croix for breakfast or lunch, adorable gift shopping with everything you can imagine and fresh roasted coffee on the spot! The staff is friendly and owner David does all the cooking on a panini grill and convection oven. Have a mimosa, too. My omelette was delicious with spinach and cheese plus bacon on top or walnuts!! Check out the pictures. They also have live music on certain nights. A real treat . .”
“We ate here yesterday for the first time. What a wonderful revamp of the interior! Delicious food and very reasonable. Great service. We will be back!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for my hubby who is in a wheelchair.”
“I had a morning appointment that required me to be a little late for work the other day. Of course I had to bring donuts to atone for my tardiness. After my appointment I called Lindstrom Bakery to see if they could put together an assortment of a dozen donuts on short notice. The new owner answered the phone and was extremely friendly and accommodating. Five minutes after we hung up the phone I showed up and my donuts were ready. I love to support my local businesses that have great customer service. The donuts were a big hit at work by the way!”
“What a great place for breakfast big portions good prices large menu.brother had biscuits and gravy said it was excellent, great service and coffee, just such a unique place you don't find restaurants like this in ”
“Hooligans consistently produces the best tasting pizza in the area. We either pick up at window or eat in at Ken’s. Real people with great food.Kid-friendliness: Kids can play pool, the vintage bowling game, or bonus hole. Good people from the country work and eat /drink here.Parking: Plenty of room”
“Just like the previous owner's: Same big burgers etc, and they will pull in bands that you would only expect to find at a much larger venue in the Twin Cities. Last act I saw, the singer had just recently been featured on national network.”
“Stopped in a couple times on our travels. We've tried the Classic chicken sandwiches (with lettuce, tomatoes, and onion), classic roast beef, beef n cheddar, and Java shakes which is my fave shake anywhere. All have been really good. Great deal when you get the daily or weekly deals for 2/$7. ?”
“I love Ken's! They are putting in a new kitchen, but Hooligans Pizza cooks in the brick oven, and it's THE BEST PIZZA!Kid-friendliness: Don't see many kids.”
“Have the bull bite appetizer it was amazing. I had the Prime rib med rare. It was Perfectly cooked. The green beans were yummy. My husband had the 5 piece fish fry. He said it was very good. It was busy. We made reservations. Celebrated a friend's birthday thier chocolate cake came with sparklers and a cow bell. Fun and delicious. So good!”
“Don Julio is exceptional!!! ???️. This is the fourth location that I visited and on every location has been a wonderful experience. (You can see it from my past reviews). From the service as you walk in, the great menu selection, the delicious taste of the food to the prices. A great place to go with a date, with the family or just with friends to enjoy some great margaritas ? If you are looking for a great Mexican food experience, just look for your nearest Don Julio restaurant, you will thank me for the advice.”
“Great place to shoot pool and even buy a cue if you're looking for one. The owner is fabulous guy and willing to hook you up with all you need for pool needs.”
“Whether you drive through, savor the patio views, or cozy up by the fireplace, Northwoods is worth a stop any time of year. Delicious espresso and breakfast sandwiches paired with thoughtful, kind service. Thank you!”
“So I am not one to like takeout, it just never tastes the same vs being sitting in a restaurant… Lemme tell you! This was fantastic!! It was warm, cooked just right, and tasted excellent. You could definitely save some $ and split a burger with someone, they’re huge!! I had never been here before, I’m glad I stopped by.”
“Had lunch after our trip on the train. We were with a large group of friends. We were able to call ahead and told them we had a large group and they were able to accommodate us when we got there. The food was fabulous. Had the classic hamburger and it was very good! My husband had the Ruben and he said it was small but very good. Will most definitely come back again.”
“My family was at General Sams this weekend. Beautiful venue and fantastic food. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and their kindness and hospitality are unmatched. ? % recommend.”
“Pizza is delicious, spaghetti too. Antipasta salad is a nice addition to your order. Cheesey bread needs to be consumned as well. Atmosphere takes me back to the early 90's. Not many spots to dine inside, so order out or get there early.Parking: Nestled between the bank and liquor store. Plenty of parking. Look for the Dala Horse in the corner of the lot- you've found the right place.”
