“Ward's is awesome! Every 2nd and last Friday of the month, they have a meat raffle! The whole raffle costs $20 bucks and only takes about an hour and a half!”
“Just finished up a week of vacation and finally had an excellent meal! My 2 boys ordered off the menu and they got it just right! My wife and I shared the fajitas and we went through 2 cheese bowls! I loved the salsa and my 6 year old liked it too as long as he could have a sip of water afterwards. It did have a minor hotness to it but perfect! Ok our service from Jenny was amazing! She worked with our pickiness and it was perfect. After a couple hours on the tubes it was a perfect spot to eat! Go there today!Kid-friendliness: Made to order not from menu for my 2 boys!”
“We love everything about this special place! The coffee, that is roasted on site, is the best in the state! The food and bakery goods are always delicious! The employees and owners are AMAZING! Having owned a coffee in Minneapolis, this one stands above all others. A must stop if coming through the St. Croix area.”
“Great coffee shop with a friendly atmosphere. The barista, Asa was fast paced , knowledgeable, and social when time allowed. We will definitely be stopping here for coffee when in Town. Also had Gluten free oatmeal as breakfast options.”
“Lucky Panda in Lewisville is absolutely the best food that you can buy.I’ve been buying and ordering from them for years and the food has always been fresh and delicious, my favorite is the shrimp egg foo young and it’s phenomenal.I will always support this business”
“My boyfriend and I came here to eat, we both got omelettes. Mine was pretty good, a little bland but easily fixed with salt and pepper. My boyfriend had requested his omelette not have mushrooms, when it came out it had mushrooms. He was just picking them out when he found plastic in his food. We informed the waitress, Kim, and she was super helpful, kind, and understanding of the mistake, didn’t seem annoyed at all like some waitresses would get being that were pretty busy. They definitely made up for their mistake. Thank you, Kim :-)”
“My husband and I are huge fans of Tangled up in Blue! We love the small intimate atmosphere. The food is amazing, The chef really knows how to cook and you wont be disapointed. This is a family owned and operated small restaurant, so the staff always knows who we are, and its nice to catch up when we stop in.”
“Purchased a variety of fresh pastries today for work. They were certainly a hit! Always friendly and fast service. Absolutely a perfect example of how small, local businesses bring value to the community!”
“I went with two girlfriend and had a great time. The venue is nice and very open. The wines were ok. Very nice charcuterie board and brochette appetizer, their food menu is small but what they do have is good. The band On Tap was playing and we really enjoyed them.”
“Great place with great food!!! The owner is very friendly and engaging.Kid-friendliness: We have brought our grandchildren here to eat many times. Very kid friendly.”
“The food was wonderful. The service was great and you get a lot of food for the money. I brought enough home for another meal and it was just as good the second day. Going back there for sureMake sure you make a reservation if you are going on a Friday night.”
“Anna and Irv are so amazing and the sweetest people you could ever meet. The wine is amazing and they have beer. The food is great doesn't matter if you have sweatpants or a suit they welcome everyone. Please come check them out and support them. Awesome and relaxing atmosphere.”
“Hooligans consistently produces the best tasting pizza in the area. We either pick up at window or eat in at Ken’s. Real people with great food.Kid-friendliness: Kids can play pool, the vintage bowling game, or bonus hole. Good people from the country work and eat /drink here.Parking: Plenty of room”
“First time and hope to come back. Came for Sunday brunch and had the breakfast flatbread, waffle, pancake, and lattes. All the food was amazing and the pancake was the fluffiest I’ve ever had. Service was friendly. We had to wait about 10 minutes due to the line, but it was worth it and they move through people fairly quickly. Short drive from Trollhaugen ski area and right by Cascade Falls so enjoy the outdoors after you fill your belly!”
“All in all this a great place if you are craving that "chipotle" style of Mexican food. Portions are generous, prices are basically on point with pretty much everywhere else these days, wife had a quesadilla while I had a burrito bowl and it ran about $35 with tip. Lots of seating with a very open floor concept.”
“Their curry was fantastic!Vegetarian options: Their menu was surprisingly large with lots of vegetarian and vegan options :)Dietary restrictions: I have food allergies and they were very accommodating.”
“The Sweet Focaccia bread with pecans is absolutely to die for. I only wish there were more pecans and drizzle. Oooo so good! The Wheat Berry bread is also amazing. I love these two so much I have a hard time trying the others! Thank you so much for continuing to bake!”
“I love Ken's! They are putting in a new kitchen, but Hooligans Pizza cooks in the brick oven, and it's THE BEST PIZZA!Kid-friendliness: Don't see many kids.”
“It appears they are giving you a sh!+ pile of veggies to make up for the lack of meat. Lucky for me, I like veggies. Idk, seems to be going a bit downhill. On a good note, it's always clean, and the people are really really nice.”
“Great place. wonderful welcoming vibe. family friendly... in the hub of a recreational paradise, MTB, hiking, skiing, running, camping, riding state and county trails”
“St. Croix tavern is your standard Wisconsin bar. They have a full bar, darts, pull tabs, and pool. What more could you want? The owner and bartender is a nice guy and this place has live music pretty frequently. Prices are standard for a bar in the area. It's a clean place with few frills. Just good drinks and good conversations.”
“After reading other reviews of the Crystal tavern the wife and I decided to give it a shot. It's true that you get free drinks if you're gambling! They have a few 4 seat tables and possibly the most comfortable bar stools I've ever sat on. The only thing that I didn't like about our experience was that our Jack and Cokes were extremely weak, like 1/2 of an ounce and served in a disposable cup. I guess that's why the majority of the people there were drinking cans/bottles of beer.Pull tabs + free drinks= fun! That is if you win. Worth a stop though.”
“The food was absolutely delicious. The service was fantastic. The staff was wonderfully friendly all smiles and great suggestions for a first time visit. Finn and Christian had top notch customer service. 100% will be back againKid-friendliness: Very family friendly atmosphere.”
“It was a Monday night 1/2 price burger baskets, They had pool table leagues going on and only the bartender and cook was working so the bartender was extremely busy but she did the best she could. The girlfriend and myself both got burger baskets and they were excellent.”
“I went to American pie tonight and they made a mistake with my order but they were amazing and remade the pizza and even gave me my other pizza so it's not to waste it. I'd have to say they were very apologetic and very nice to work with. Great place to bring your business.”
“Had lunch after our trip on the train. We were with a large group of friends. We were able to call ahead and told them we had a large group and they were able to accommodate us when we got there. The food was fabulous. Had the classic hamburger and it was very good! My husband had the Ruben and he said it was small but very good. Will most definitely come back again.”
“We celebrated a birthday here tonight. This was my first time at this restaurant. Our waitress Theresa was wonderful. Our dinner was excellent. I read other reviews saying the place needs to be renovated. It's old school supper club-ish which I thought was great. And all the windows overlooking the waterfall area were cool. I loved it here and will definitely be back.”
“We took the kids for pizza and ice cream before our hike. The kids shared a slice, a slice is a 1/4 of a pizza. I had a slice and my husband had the Chicago dog. We all enjoyed our lunch. They also have a good selection of different ice cream/sherbet. The decorations are fun to look at and there's coin operated machines for little kids. We try to eat here every time we're in the area.”
“If you are in Taylor’s Falls, this is a can’t miss spot! We had Ribs and Pulled Pork! Both were tender and full of flavor! They’ve got great options for Togo as well, but we sat and ate while enjoying a spotted cow!”
“We were just driving by finding somewhere to eat quick and wow we don’t live close and we will be back! The food was so good! Even my boyfriend was impressed and he hates going out! The server was nice and attentive and seemed like a cute family vibe! Like I said we live in the twin cities so not close but we will definitely making our way back to try more stuff the menu is huge! 10 out 10 in our book!”
