I recently moved to the area and finally found time to stop in. I won’t return after my first visit. It was empty inside with few selections. The young ladies working did not smile or seem to want to talk to me.

I stopped at the Lindstrom Bakery last week to buy some cinnamon rusks and Swedish limpa bread. It had been awhile since I was there. I grew up a block away and spent slot of time there. The moment I walked in, I was shocked to see what has happened to it. It is no longer the cozy little Swedish bakery! It feels so cold and sterile! It made me very sad! There are no shelves filled with bread, cinnamon rusks, cookies and other Swedish baked goods. I bought some of the rusks that I looked forward to.Also bought a turnover. The turnover was very good. The risks are just not the same! I probably won't go there again!....sadly!

We stopped in while on a trip. The man behind the case was as sweet as the sugar glazed donuts! The lingon berry donuts and cinnamon rolls? wow! great!
This place is incredible. Even though I went on a very busy day, they treated me with great kindness and patience. The cookies and donuts are delicious, I also recommend the cinnamon toast (bag), you can tell everything is made with good quality ingredients. A must-see if you go to Lindstrom.
