This place is just disgusting. I don’t know how they’re still open. We got chilaquiles and a burrito. They were both just so bad. They have everything sitting there cold worse than a fast food place.

So I walked into the place and looked at the menu and set up and immediately my mind was like because I can't leave a restaurant that I've already walked into. BUT I am so glad that I ended up ordering. The set up is assembly like chipotle, but the food actually has flavor and taste unlike chipotle. For some reason they sell boba which was unexpected but it was pretty good. Mangonada was good too. Birria was so so but all in all it was a nice find for north suburbs. Very chill and clean place with a patio.

!!!!!PLEASE READ!!!!!Mexican food is my favorite, and craving carne asada tacos, so I stopped into Mama Mias in Lino Lakes and ordered 3 tacos, and guacamole! I received 3 tiny tacos with barely any meat, pico, or their "hottest" hot sauce (which wasn't hot)!!! A small container of guacamole. I'm more than familiar with Mexican food being from California, and spending a lot of time in Mexico, plus trying out many Mexican restaurants in Minnesota, and many more on my travels around the country, and these were the saddest tacos I've ever had!!!! Stay clear and go to Don Julio's, or Fiesta Grill.I guess I have to leave one star so I can post this ?The following in response to the owners....YOUR TACO FILLINGS AMOUNT TO NOTHING SHORT OF A JOKE!!!!!! I DONT MIND SPENDING MONEY IF I GET SOMETHING FOR IT!!!! GOOD LUCK ON MAKING IT.

Stopped for lunch on our way home, and we are glad we did. The service was great, and the Birra tacos are amazing! Their homemade salsas are fantastic! What a nice find in Lino Lakes, authentic Mexican food. We will be back soon!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free options are available!

Must try! Good food and taste for its surrounding areas. Very custom and local. Small comfortable Mexican diner with not too bold of flavors! Just support small restaurants or eat at at some franchise restaurants or you could always try your own cooking. I’m sure you’d wiz Mexican cuisine well!Thanks for the service and I’d recommended it to almost anyone, definitely worth a shot!

I regret going here. I will not return. If it was free, I would not go back.I went here excited to try out and support a newish local burrito joint. Atmosphere was nice very decorative and fun. Seemed very clean. I ended up going in on a Monday (3/27/23) afternoon at about lunchtime.I went in for a Chicken burrito and came out with a... " I don't known what kind of meat they gave me" burrito.I ordered a burrito, and I was never asked what kind of meat I wanted. It was not like there was a long line, or something and they were trying to hurry me through. There was no one in line except me. They just kinda made it. They did ask if I wanted sour cream, and cheese that was nice.I was very disappointed, the meat tasted funny to me, it was almost like spaghetti in the way it was kind of long and stringy. Also when I chewed it, it did not break down almost like it was gristle.
Delicious food. Drove out of the way to try it and we're glad we did.
