This spot is a gem. We are not from the immediate area. In town for a high school hockey game, and popped in for a beer and pizza. Owners are friendly, and delightful. LOVED the Black IPA. We had the hot honey pepperoni pizza, and a a special pizza (Pig on Vacay), and both were great! We end up in Litchfield on occasion for our kids' sports, and this will be our first stop from now on.

I absolutely love everything about the half bushel! The owners are so nice and very friendly. Steph the bartender is very friendly and is very personable. The beers there are absolutely amazing. My favorite beers are the blond ale, cream ale and the blueberry saison. The food is to die for. I have had quite a bit of food off the menu and have loved all of it. Overall, great place to grab a beer and have some pizza! Highly recommend. We’ve caught them early in their operations, but the Alt beer is particularly good and we enjoyed the Buffalo Chicken Ranch pizza. I think they’re working on unifying the building sections they own for a single ambience, but it works pretty well! They’re working to strike a balance between a modern rustic while honoring past businesses.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza
