Birch's on the Lake Brewhouse & Supperclub

Birch's on the Lake is one of our favorite restaurants! The food is always great. The service is always great. The setting is fantastic for a romantic dinner for two, taking friends and family out to eat, or simply relaxing over drinks and starters. ALWAYS A WINNER!

Really just missing what it takes - a special birthday reservation was nothing special- six people seated awkwardly at a large table in a small room started off a lack luster service and food experience. Needs a refresh.

Great ambience on the lake, food and service were ok but it is outrageously expensive. My husband and I had dinner, he had one drink, no dessert, no appetizers and bill was $123.00.

We had a lovely family dinner at Birches. We were celebrating 2 November birthdays. The food was good, the service was excellent. We all enjoyed the magician that stopped at our table. Our granddaughters especially enjoyed her performance. The weather was so warm we all went out on the deck after dinner . No other guests were out there and we enjoyed hanging around the fire table overlooking the lake. We love the supper club and would frequent more often if we didn't live so far away. Thank you for a memorable evening.

We live in San Diego and have kids/grandkids in Buffalo, MN - so we had been to Birches before. This time we were meeting old friends from Eagan, MN. Birches was the perfect place for cocktails, food and an amazing "catch up" conversation. Thanks to Ingrid for her professionalism and patience with us (we spent a lot of time talking and not ordering). Also, all the food and drinks were outstanding - schnitzel, flatbread, walleye tacos and salad - all great. Thanks so much to all for making this a memorable and enjoyable lunch.

The food we chose was outstanding! The best filet mignon I have ever had and the ribeye my husband ate was fantastic! Oprah studs and the Brussel sprouts were amazing! I understand the beef is local and grass fed and you sure can taste the difference from commercial beef. Our only concern was the food cooled off quickly, probably because we were sitting under a cool air vent?? Also the prices are extremely high but you get what you pay for, so we paid high bucks for an extraordinary meal. Happy to do this once in awhile. Birches is our new favorite spot! Thanks

Everything about this place is amazing!! Found it by chance...it was along our route to an apple orchard. Can't wait to go back!! Great food, beer, drinks, service...outstanding!!

Off night?
Been a long time customer and the food and service have always been top notch! Which is why I suggested Birch's for very special occasion. Sadly, the service was incredibly slow and of the 7 entrees we ordered, only 1 was delicious.

We have been going to Birch’s for years and have always enjoyed everything about the space, the food, and of course, their delicious beers! Recently, we needed to plan an event for 100+ people on very short notice. Not only were they able to accommodate us, they met every need we had, even things we didn’t think of. The staff is amazing!! Thank you!!
