Great staff, and the owner is a great guy (I don't know his wife). Some constructive suggestions:1. The prices are high relative to the value of the items I have tried, both pizza and the sandwiches.1. Wings: the standard order of wings is only 10 relatively small wings, and one time they were overcooked.2. I ordered the French Dip, and while it was good, it just didn't make me say "wow" inside when it was placed in front of me. Besides, it was essentially a half of a sandwich.3. Perhaps, the burgers are the best bet, can't really complain.4. However, as Carbone's is a pizza restaurant, while I haven't tried all of the different pizzas, the ones I have tried I would say are good, but not great.My points of reference for fabulous food in comparison at better prices are the Detour 19 in Loretto (their French Dip will rock your boat as will an order of their wings, as will their homemade pizza, and everything else on their menu). Thus, when a group of us wants great pizza, sandwiches, etc., that is one of our first choices. Another great choice, farther away, but worth the drive, is Schuller's in Golden Valley. Ditto on everything I just mentioned regarding Detour 19. Thus while Carbone's is minutes away, we drive to where the food is top shelf. For take out, Forkless, in Maple Plain makes Rock Star wings and their ribs are out of this world, and Monies pizzia and burgers are great.Thus, to the owner of Carbone's: Please visit Detour 19 and Shullers and see what they are doing and do what they are doing. I would recommend maybe a few changes to your decor, make it like a Northern Wisconsin Bar up in the woods, and You will be off to the races, packed to the gills every night!!!!!! My 2 cents. Bartenders ignore you unless you are a regular. She and He would rather do dishes than make eye contact with me standing there. Pizza and the waitress were great! Atmosphere not so much.I have been here at least three times and had the same experience with the bartending staff.

the kids wanted Pizza Ranch but we were a bit too far away to make that happen. This was the closest pizza place to us at the moment and since i had a decent experience in St. Paul with one of these restaurants we decided to come here for dinner. it was a nice night so we sat outside. Our waitress was prompt with the drink orders and appetizer of wings. Though a little spicy the buffalo bone in wings were very tasty. the kids were getting a little restless so it was nice to have the coloring pages and crayons to keep them semi occupied. i have their version of a meatlovers pizza and it was very good. my only critique on the standard thin crust pizza is that the cheese and toppings wouldn't stick to the crust very well so i ended up eating each piece like a taco. Everyone else had pretty good things to say about their food too. a little out of the way to come here on a regular basis but if we were in the area we would stop by again.

Locally owned and operated. Supporters of the community, including hiring many local kids during the summer. Food is good. Service is good, though sometimes the food takes longer than you'd like. Philly cheese steak is best thing IMHO. My only gripe regarding the menu is that they don't serve garlic bread. Seriously.... Noodles are just my excuse to eat garlic bread, please consider adding it to the menu.

Really friendly and efficient on phone and cashier staff. Ordered par baked pizza to bake at home, and wings. Love the dry rub wings and the garlic sauce; next time I'll ask for less cheese on the Spartan pizza ;)
