We came here for a date night and loved it! I am gluten free and loved that I had so many options to choose from. We cannot wait to come back!
We are regular diners at Primo. We always enjoy ourselves. Good service great food. Last night we had out of town guests celebrating a birthday. The food was terrific. The service was horrible! I asked for Parmesan cheese almost from the moment I sat down, it never came with the bread it never came with appetizers. It never came with salad finally after a few bites of entrée she came by with about a half ounce piece for the table. My wife asked for water refills, maybe 45 times. It was about as un attentive of Service as we've had anywhere in a long long time. My wife asked for a glass of ice we were there for almost 2 hours. She never got the glass of ice if that's an indicator of how poured the service was.
We love Primos. It's our go to place when we want a special night out. Love the quaint atmosphere and the food is so good.
This was my first time dining at Primo. I found the food flavorful but a bit too spicy for me. I had the ravioli and the sauce had more of a bite than I expected. We ordered the asparagus which was wonderful! The Caesar salad and bread were tasty as well. Unfortunately I was under the air conditioning vent so it was quite chilly. I do not think I will make this a favorite spot but this is just my preference for food that is a little less spicy. Our service was also good.
They have a date night special that we were unaware of before arriving, and it was a pleasant surprise!
We are originally from the New York City metro area, so given the native Italian-American population, our standard for that type of cuisine is higher. This restaurant did not disappoint!
Food and service were both fabulous. Highly recommend. Maybe the best seabass I've ever had.
Great place tucked into downtown Wayzata! It was our first time there and we will definitely be back. A little spendy, but there are lower-priced items, and for authentic Italian food, you can't beat it. The service was fabulous - our server was very attentive and very helpful with the menu. When we had questions about the wine, the bartender brought over the wines we were considering and explained each one thoroughly. After our dinner, we went out to the patio to sit by the fire and finish our wine. It was the perfect end to a wonderful meal! I would recommend this place if you're looking for a nice quiet evening with authentic Italian food!
Amazing food! Sabrina was awesome! Really fun restaurant and accommodating to our group's food sensitivities.
Always friendly staff. Ordered the lasagna and did not disappoint! Spaghetti meatballs is always a win too. Excellent sauce a hint of heat to it!

Eaten here many times and it is one of our favorites. Food is really good. They will split for you and it makes it very nice.
Such a special place. Small and intimate. The food is fabulous. Be prepared for leftovers, the portions are high. I have recommended Primo to lots of people and have only hear very positive reviews from them. It's one of those places you can go to often and never be disappointed.
The food is out of this world! Husband had the sea bass, I had Lobster linguine, our adult children tried other entrees and were happy with their selection. Margarita pizza as an appetizers was amazing!!! Unfortunately, the service got a little slow when we wanted to order more cocktails and disappointed they charged us $4 for a basket of bread. We spent over $400. Could have given us the bread for free.
