Wow, 1st time here and I will definitely be back. If you like tacos, you need to come here the house made corn tortillas are by far the best I've ever had. I'm sure the rest of the menu has great things to offer as well but I'll have to be back and try more. Wish the new ownership the best moving forwad!

First of all the new owners have put in a lot of elbow grease getting it clean. It is much brighter, tables clean and well set.
Menu is really stripped down to bare bones and prices are much higher than before. Chips and Salsa need to be requested - chips are thick and not many served - salsa is not very flavorful.
Soda/pop come I. The old red plastic cups - feels like your at an old diner or burger joint. Wasn’t impressed with that at all. Had street tacos and they were nothing spectacular. Menu lacks many Mexican dishes - despite just opening and getting going - willing to try them again but not for several months until they add more items and get prices down, improve the chips and salsa. Felt as if they maybe they rushed the opening and didn’t prefer their craft yet.

This is my new clubhouse! I’ve been there three times in one week. It is so warm and cozy. I do know the family that purchased this establishment and hospitality runs in their veins. They pretty much threw out the microwaves and went back to a scratch Kitchen and it comes through!! I almost didn’t want to post a review because I wanted to keep this little secret to myself, but it’s too good not to share. I’ve had a couple things off the menu and actually one thing that isn’t even on the menu yet that was really good. I don’t know exactly what it is, but it was like a slow braised meat in some sort of tortilla. But the women next to me seemed to order everything on the menu so I got to see how it all came out and they said they really enjoyed their meals. I didn’t know them, but this is the type of place where you can just sit down at the welcoming bar and end up making new friends. Oh, and they have a great happy hour!

Wife and I sat a the bar a few days ago and after about 5 minutes we were finally acknowledged…while the 2 bartenders were literally an arms length away…Talking to the other customers. Just say hi and drop a coaster…the acknowledgement that I sat down at your bar goes a long way.
House margarita was served in a glass that was just washed so it (the glass) was pretty warm, but at least it tasted better than the previous ownership margarita.
We had to ask for chips and salsa a couple times and again after we ordered food and we got them about a minute before our food came out. Asked for a bottle of hot sauce to add to my salsa to spice it up, but it never came out either.
Menu is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than it was and prices have gone up, also significantly. Fajitas for $28 and the peppers/onions were still cold. Queso dip was super thick almost gummy…and came with a handful of chips…not enough especially since we hadn’t gotten our chips and salsa yet.
Classics like Birria and Chile Relleno are gone and there are no à la carte options also which saddened me a little. I like a couple small items as my meal sometimes, but it’s not even an option anymore. We “settled” for the fajitas to split…we had really high hopes with new ownership, but SanPanchos might only be a happy hour and nachos destination for us now instead of dinner.

Went to celebrate my wife’s birthday with a bunch of friends. The restaurant is under new ownership and the new owners are experienced restaurant operators.

Menu is made up of traditional Mexican dishes and they also have “Tex-Mex” options for those who just crave those (burritos and fajitas).

We went for the traditional Mexican dishes; my wife had enchiladas with mole and I had a “Torta” both were outstanding, the flavor will take you back to the real Mexico …. I lived there for almost 10 years so can definitely tell what real Mexican food taste like 😊

Our kids had 2 orders each of steak and pastor (pork) tacos; this was 4 tacos each.

Atmosphere of restaurant is super relax and cozy; brings you back to a Mexican “Fonda” (small neighborhood restaurant ).

Prices are very reasonable and portions are quite generous so it’s an amazing value for the money.

Their drink menu has plenty of choices and a broad selection of nonalcoholic options as well.

My wife and I stopped into San Pancho Mexican Restaurant in Long Lake during their soft opening and were very impressed. Although the restaurant has been around for several years, it’s now under new ownership as of mid-January by the Luna family, and the difference was immediately clear. The food was outstanding—authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care and passion. This wasn’t rushed or generic Mexican food; you could truly taste the quality and pride in every bite. The service was just as wonderful, with a sincere and welcoming host and wait staff. The restaurant has also received a beautiful facelift. It’s clean, recently renovated, and filled with bright colors and décor that give it a warm, authentic Mexican feel. We had a great meal and are excited for their official opening. We’ll definitely be back! — Hans and Keaton Frees

We attending a dining experience under the new leadership. The food was incredible and they had options for the entire family including our young children. Atmosphere had a great vibe. My favorite thing on the menu was the chimichanga - absolute perfection. Excited for this restaurant to open soon so we can try more items on the menu , we will definitely be back! Highly recommend
