Moguls Grille & Taproom Reviews
The menu size was small, so I hoped for above average items. I paid $22 for basic nachos. $16 for nachos and +$6 for meat. it was red' white and blue chips with some Colby jack sprinkled on top. minimal smoked chicken. The only flavor I got was the sauce I had to dip it in. I was really disappointed. Stole some waffle fries from a friend. They were wonderful. There are other items I want to try, but do not waste money on the nachos.

The fried wild rice bowl with Brussels sprouts was AMAZING! Friendly staff. Thanks Dakota!
My husband and I visited Moguls for dinner during the summer months. The portion he got for his Surf and Turf meal was small and overall very bland. My walleye was very greasy/buttery but ok. We also ordered the crispy brussel sprouts and found those to be extremely good.
Service here was just meh as well. This really is just a similar experience to a restaurant connected to a crummy Hilton Garden Inn.
I would recommend eating at Papa Charlie’s at the Lutsen...read full review

Moguls Grille & Taproom is an amazing restaurant and a great option for dining in Lutsen. The food is delicious, prepared well, served hot, and tastes great. Specific menu items like the Wild Rice Burger, Cranberry BLT on Cranberry Walnut Bread, Soythwestern chicken and corn soup, wild rice soup, cheesecake, and carrot cake are all noted as outstanding and winners. Meals arrive quickly and are described as affordable, though some note it can be a little pricey without feeling bad about the bill.
The staff is great, with friendly and efficient service from the wait staff and servers even when the restaurant is packed. Reservations are suggested, especially on weekends, though seating can happen right away with no wait, particularly during off-season visits. Located on the lower level of the lodge in The Highlands area, it is considered a must for dinner when visiting Lutsen, with many guests stating they will be back.
