We had a wonderful night. I can’t tell what was more delightful, the cheese fondue or our server Rob. Rob was incredibly informative and explained not only the different kinds of fondue available but was knowledgeable about the wine list also. He stopped by many times to check on us and make sure the cheese was cooking like it should. We never thought that pickles or apples would go with cheese but we were very wrong, it was delightful. And that sausage was incredible! It was really the highlight of the meal. The bread was originally a little hard for my liking but we just let it sit in the fondue for a couple minutes and softened it to our liking. If you’re very hungry make sure to order more than one course.Overall the experience was perfect, it was such a fun way to eat a meal! We would recommend this to anyone!

Fon-dos (pros):The cheese fondue is the highlight of the dinner. The sipping chocolate was also very tasty. The staff were very clear about the experience and the resort is a quaint locations. Cocktails were nice but nothing to write home about. There was live music in the lobby, playing a rendition of Hallelujah. The decor is dated skiing chic. The resort has lovely outdoor fires by the lake. Be ware the polar bear.Fon-don’ts (cons): They haven’t quite figured this out yet. Large lag time between courses. One of the meats for the bouillon fondue was still a frozen block when it came out. A bit of a bouillon blunder. The explanation of meats and dips was limited to the only what was already on the limited menu and staff didn’t know what was vegetarian, specifically what type of bouillon they use. Water glasses were too short and constantly empty. Don’t come if you are starving. Cost higher than quality and quantity. Still had fun but wouldn’t go again.

Nice atmosphere but fondu was overpriced and service was almost non-existent. A tip to management: Make the cheese fondue on a stove top and then bring it to the tables with the burner. Melting the cheese with the burner was impossible because it couldn’t get hot enough and therefore remained chunky. You just can’t get the wine simmered that way.

We had a lovely fondue dinner. We haven’t done this in years but what a great delight to find this on the North Shore! Rob mixes a great Cosmo! We tried all 3 fondues and they were each delicious. The staff was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience!

Super excited to try some fondue with a fun drink in cozy place with my wife! We found out it was 35 per person not per plate? Weird. But it must be amazing right!? Wrong. Service was all over the place. Couldn't find wine menus. We finally got a small charcuterie board with some cold veggies and stale bread to dip into a runny fondue cheese. After trying everything and hoping to make the best of it our wine came. We were really hungry so even though we didn't enjoy it we did finish the bread. They offered us more cheese and bread so we thought why not... We're still really hungry.. well they charge you for that as well... Like what kind off scam is this... The whole thing is maybe worth $20. Why is it charged per person? It's not like we got two portion of anything!? It was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. We were thinking about doing a dinner at the strand next door but knowing they so wildly overcharge for trash food and experience we would never try it now. So disappointing! It could be great because it is a cozy atmosphere. But honestly there are much better options around. Wish I didn't have to leave a review like this but it was just that bad.

Overpriced for bad customer service and mediocre food. We had to ask 4 different people for water for the table of only four people. We had the fondue with cured meats and vegetables. The broth was brought to us cold and took 20 minutes + just to warm up enough at table. I questioned if I was going to get sick from eating the meat even though it was cured. There are a lot of kinks that need to be worked out with staffing. It was clear the staff was working at the restaurant across the hall as well. We had four different people serve us. Plus the mandated service fee of 10% was unacceptable considering we had such bad service. We will not return.

The service was the worst I’ve had. The staff was completely unorganized. We waited over 20 minutes and no one addressed our table. I finally went to the bar for service and was told someone would be right over. 15 minutes later someone finally took our order. 15 minutes later we finally received drinks. Almost an hour! We ordered water for the table no less than four times from four different individuals and never received until on hour and 20 minutes later when our food finally arrived. We ordered the cured meat course, the restaurant does not heat the broth before bringing to your table. The sterno under the pot is not enough to ever heat the broth to the correct temperature. We waited another 20 minutes just for the broth to get warm enough to make the meats even warm. All in we we there for almost three hours for one round of drinks and one course of fondue. Unacceptable at any restaurant, much less one charging what they do. Extremely disappointed.

Food was overpriced for portions. The food was good but I don’t think the cheese fondue got fully cooked. Also the potato’s and carrots were cold and hard and were not fantastic. Service was also slow.

To start the menu pricing is not clear, and it is easy to order and leave the restaurant still hungry. After being seated it took nearly 20 minutes to get beverages. The first fondue dish served at cost of $45/per person consisted of small portions for 2- of 3 cured meats, a few cold potatoes, mushrooms, and broccolini. The service was very slow as it was clear staff had duties in both hotel restaurants. They were very understaffed. All in all the food was incredibly overpriced for the portions that were given, and the service was not great for that costly price. There are a lot of restaurants in the lutsen area that I’d recommend. This one’s not one of them.

Delightful and cozy! For drinks, we had the mocktail espresso martini and the Lavender75. Both were amazingly well crafted and flavorful, with great presentation. Also got a glass of the white mulled wine, which I'd wholeheartedly recommend. For food, we ordered the Käse and Schokolade fondues. The caribou sausage was the star of the käse, and everything in the Schokolade was phenomenal!Diana and Nicole were fantastically friendly servers.
