Bluestem Catering wowed my husband and me from the very beginning as we evaluated caterers for our wedding day. What stood out immediately was their exceptional service. We went to several tastings, and Bluestem was the only caterer who provided a comfortable, personalized experience. They set up a private tasting and then gave my husband and me space to sample and discuss on our own, whereas other caterers watched us eat and asked for immediate feedback, making the experience feel awkward.
Bluestem also made us feel genuinely valued. They didn’t charge additional fees for dietary meals and were incredibly accommodating, unlike many competitors who love to tack on extra charges. Where other caterers felt purely business-oriented, Bluestem is truly people-oriented — and that’s what makes them shine.
And of course, the food itself was amazing! We served their pasta buffet with the Sante Fe Chicken Tortellini and the Chicken Bacon Ranch Mac & Cheese. Guests are still raving about the unique, flavorful options. We loved that the menu allowed us to express our personalities and offer something different from the typical wedding dinner.
While their food is outstanding, it’s their service that completely won us over. Bluestem is the obvious choice if you want a catering partner who genuinely cares about creating a personalized, memorable experience.

We recently catered an in home bison prime rib dinner for twenty of our friends from around the country. Chef Skyler hit an absolute home run with the meal which was served with an iceberg wedge topped with blue cheese, Boursin mashed potatoes and cream and custard filled pastry for dessert. Our guests said it was the best prime rib they had ever tasted. The bordelaise sauce for the bison was incredibly delicious. We would highly recommend Chef Skyler and his team at Bluestem Catering Co.
